In today’s fast-paced world, it is becoming increasingly important for students to become more efficient with their time. In this day and age, there are many different ways in which a student can be more efficient in their studies. One of the most effective ways in which a student can be more efficient in their studies is by using a note taking application. OneNote is a note taking application that has been developed by Microsoft and was first released in 2003. OneNote is a free application that is available for most major computing platforms. Keap is a document sharing platform that is designed to help students share information between different applications. Much like OneNote, Keap is also a free platform that is available for most major computing platforms.
In this section, I will discuss an overview of OneNote and Keap and how these two applications can be integrated together to help students. I will also discuss the importance of integration between these two applications and why it makes sense for these two applications to be integrated together.
OneNote is an application that allows users to take notes on different topics. Notes can be organized into different notebooks, each notebook containing different topics. OneNote also allows users to create different sections inside of the different notebooks. The sections within one notebook can be used to organize specific notes within the topic of the notebook. For example, if the topic of the notebook is Chemistry class, then each section could be used to organize different aspects of Chemistry. These aspects could include things like homework assignments, tests, etc. OneNote also allows users to create sub-sections within the sections that are created within the notebook. This sub-section feature can be very helpful for organizing notes into subtopics that are relevant to the main topic of the section. The sub-section feature can also be very helpful for organizing notes into sub-topics that are relevant to the main topic of the notebook. Users can also use tags to organize notes by subject or relevance to other notes. Tags can be used at different levels of organization; for example, they can be used at the section level or the notebook level. OneNote also allows users to create pictures through the use of the camera within OneNote or pictures that are already stored on devices that are connected to OneNote. These pictures are stored as thumbnails in the section that they are taken in so that it is easy to view them later on without having to look through all notes to find the picture you are looking for. OneNote also allows users to insert links within their notes so that they can provide additional information about specific points in their notes. Links can be inserted at any point in a note so that it is easy to find when necessary. For example, if a user writes a list of references for their notes, then links can be inserted into that list so that it is easy to locate later on when another reference is needed that was not previously listed.
Keap is an application that can be used to share documents between different applications. It is primarily used as a way to share documents between Microsoft Word and OneNote, but it can also be used to share documents between other applications as well. Keap works by embedding itself into other applications so that it can access files associated with those applications. It does this by adding itself as an extension in the right click menu of other applications. Once embedded, Keap can then connect with other Keap users and share documents with those users. Keap provides an interface within its own application where users can view all of their shared documents as well as documents shared with them by other people. From Keap’s own interface, users can also do things such as view documents on PowerPoint slides and PDFs. To view documents on PowerPoint slides and PDFs, users just have to click on the file link once it appears and then Keap will load up PowerPoint or Adobe Reader, respectively and show the slide or PDF on those applications instead of showing it on Keap’s own interface. Keap also provides an interface for sharing documents with other people online through its website http://www.keapstudio.com/. This interface allows users to search for other people who are connected to Keap and communicate with those people directly from Keap’s own website. This interface also allows users to search for documents that others may have shared online and download those documents directly from Keap’s website instead of having to download them through another application such as Word or OneNote.
In conclusion, I believe that OneNote and Keap should be integrated together because they both have features that complement each other very well and provide students with a greater amount of flexibility in how they choose to share information from those two applications with others outside of those applications. Many times students will have notes from class on various topics as well as notes from working with their instructors on various projects throughout the schop year. If these notes were all kept separate from each other, then it would make it harder for students to retrieve those notes when they need them because they would have to go through separate applications just to find those separate set of notes rather than being able to find them all in one centralized location where they would not have to go through multiple steps just to find those notes again. Integration between these two applications would make it much easier for students to retrieve those notes from multiple sources from one central location where they could easily find them again when needed versus having to search multiple applications every time they need those notes again.
