Integration of Office 365 and OneSignal

In this article, I am going to discuss the integration of Office 365 and OneSignal. I will start by introducing what Office 365 is, then I will introduce what OneSignal is, and at last, I will discuss the benefits of Office 365 and OneSignal integration.

Office 365 is a cloud-based integrated suite of communication and cplaboration services. It allows users to access Microsoft’s software and services through a web browser or mobile device. Office 365 includes such services as email, calendar, contacts, instant messaging (IM), video conferencing, and file storage. In addition, it allows users to install and use the full versions of Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, Access and Skype.

Microsoft offers three types of Office 365 plan for businesses. They are. Business Essentials, Business Premium and Enterprise E1. The first two plans provide the same core services but differ in the amount of email accounts and allotted storage space. The Enterprise E1 plan offers additional services aimed towards larger organizations. For example, the Enterprise E1 plan offers more storage space, more administrative contrps and more advanced security options.

OneSignal is an all-in-one push notification service for mobile apps. It can help developers to grow their user base and increase revenue. It provides multiple channels for users to receive notifications. OneSignal supports several platforms including iOS, Android, Amazon Android Appstore (Fire OS), Windows Phone, Windows 8, Windows 10 Universal Windows Platform (UWP), BlackBerry 10 and macOS. It supports both APNS (Apple Push Notification Service. and GCM (Google Cloud Messaging. In addition to that, OneSignal can be connected to several databases including MySQL, Postgresql and MSSQL Server.

Integrating Office 365 with OneSignal can bring many benefits to both developers as well as users. OneSignal can be used to send push notifications to users of Microsoft’s Office 365 services. By integrating the two systems together, developers can send push notifications to users who have signed up for a specific service only via Office 365 apps for desktop or online, instead of installing OneSignal on their own mobile devices. Hence, it can help the developer save time and money on communication with the end users.

For example, if a developer has an Office 365 app for online document editing and sharing service, he/she can integrate it with OneSignal to send push notifications about new documents being published or updated to users who signed up for the service via Office 365. This way, users do not need to install OneSignal on their devices. They will receive push notifications directly on their browsers without having to install any additional app.

In addition to saving developer’s time and money on communication with end users, another benefit of integrating Office 365 with OneSignal is that it allows users get notified whenever they open the app or website after they had stopped using it. This feature can help strengthen customer retention and engagement which can lead to higher revenue for developers.
