  • Integration between Odoo ERP Self Hosted and Siteleaf is done through the Custom Field Module in Odoo ERP Self Hosted. This module allows you to integrate data from various sources into Odoo ERP Self Hosted’s Data Model. The fields are saved in Odoo ERP Self Hosted’s Data Model are available for use in any other module in Odoo ERP Self Hosted. As an example, we will create a custom field in Odoo ERP Self Hosted and then we will use this custom field in the layout of a page of Siteleaf.

    Step 1. Create a custom field in Odoo ERP Self Hosted

    To create a custom field in Odoo ERP Self Hosted, open your application and go to Settings > Custom Fields > Add New Custom Field . Enter the name of the custom field you want to add and click on Add . You can add multiple custom fields on this page if you want to use them later for integrating data from various sources into Odoo ERP Self Hosted’s Data Model.

    For our example we will create a custom field called Name and Description of Book and we will then use it in the Layout editor of Siteleaf to display the name and the description of a book. Click on Save button after creating your custom field.

    Now we will add the code of the custom field we created in Step 1 to the layout editor of Siteleaf so that we can display its content on our website using Siteleaf’s Content Blocks feature. To do that fplow these steps:
