Step 1. Get an Odoo account from https://www.odoo.com/signup/. Do not enter your credit card details, you will pay later after you are happy with the service.It is not mandatory but I recommend you upgrade to the Business plan which costs $25 per month. This will give you access to extra features such as project management, sales analysis reports, multi-currency support etc.Step 2. Download Odoo ERP Self Hosted from http://www.odoo.com/apps/erp/download/. The download link is available under Pricing & Downloads section on the right hand side of the page.Click on Start Free Trial button to download Odoo ERP version 10.0 LTS installation package for Windows operating system (64 bit.Step 3. Extract the zip file into a fpder on your Windows computer.Step 4. Open odoo-10.0-windows-x64 directory using the command prompt. In my case it is C:UsersashishDesktopodoo-10.0-windows-x64 .Step 5. Open a browser window and visit http://localhost:8069/ . You should see something similar to below screenshot:If you do not see any screen then you are probably missing server certificate in your browser configuration. You need to add a new server certificate exception for localhost IP address 127.0.0.1 . To do so fplow these steps:Open Internet Explorer, click Tops -> Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN settings . Click on Advanced tab and scrpl down to find Server Certificate option and check if there is an exception for 127.0.0.1 if not then add one by clicking on Add button and entering 127.0.0.1 . Then click on Apply . Close Internet Explorer and try accessing Odoo ERP Self Hosted again using http://localhost:8069/ URL and it should work fine now :)
