Amazon Seller Central

Amazon Seller Central is a web-based application where merchants can manage their inventories and operations within Amazon’s fulfillment network. It includes order management, payment processing, tracking, reporting and more.

Integration of Odoo ERP Self Hosted and Amazon Seller Central

Odoo interfaces with many third-party applications including e-commerce providers. The integration of Odoo ERP Self Hosted and Amazon Seller Central is achieved by connecting these two applications in Odoo using API Integration.

Odoo ERP Self Hosted provides over 400 ready-to-use integrations to connect with other applications or services like Facebook, Twitter, Google, Salesforce etc. For example, the fplowing picture shows how to integrate with eBay:

With the above configuration, when an order placed by eBay comes in, it will post the order into the orders module of Odoo ERP Self Hosted automatically. You can then process the order in Odoo ERP Self Hosted. A new invoice will be created if needed. When the payment is made by the buyer, you can use Paypal to cplect the money from the buyer. All these actions are done automatically without any manual intervention.

Integrating Odoo ERP Self Hosted with Amazon Seller Central is also very simple. You can just click on “Connect Now” from the drop down list on the top of the page shown in the fplowing picture:

The page will guide you to configure the integration with Amazon Seller Central. In this article we will use Product Import & Export Connector Add-On for Odoo which you can get from here. https://www.odoo-addons.com/en/addons/product_import_export_connector_addon_for_odoo/ . Search for this add-on and install it according to its instruction. If you have already installed this add-on on your server, you can ignore this step. Then fplow these steps to complete the integration:

Click on “Add New Connection” from the drop down list of “Connections” page as shown in fplowing picture:

In this example we will import product from Amazon Seller Central to Odoo ERP Self Hosted. Therefore we choose “Import” as shown below:

After choosing Import, we need to choose “Amazon Seller Central” as our connector and enter the connection name and if we want to use HTTP Proxy and Port:

Enter your credentials and click on “Save changes”:

Now we need to choose the “Product Type”. We choose “Offers” as shown below:

Next we need to choose “Options”. This step is important because it tells Odoo what information needs to be gathered from Amazon Seller Central and how they should be mapped to Odoo ERP Self Hosted modules and fields:

We choose “No mapping” as we don’t need to map anything since we only want to import products and their prices and not other information like product description in Amazon Seller Central:

Then we choose “Save changes”:

At this point we can test our integration with Amazon Seller Central by clicking on “Test Connection” button:

If everything works fine (and you didn’t input wrong credentials), you should see something like this:
