Nozbe was founded in 2009 by Erik Dresner, a former Microsoft employee who served as project manager for Windows XP. Dresner had established Interact Commerce Inc. in 1998, a company that provided commerce software to retailers.
The name “nozbe” means “logbook” in Czech and it was chosen because Dresner had previously been invpved with a website called Logbook.net that he had created to manage his own life’s tasks and schedules.
