Spotify is a Swedish online music streaming service that provides digital rights management-protected content from record labels and media companies. Spotify’s model allows for unlimited listening for a fixed price, with advertising between tracks. The company is a direct competitor of Apple Music, Google Play Music and Tidal. It has over 100 million active users and more than 50 million subscribers as of March 2017. The launch of the Apple Music streaming service in 2015 and the Google Play Music service in 2016 was said to have been the “final straw” for Spotify, driving it to offer more features for free to its customers. Spotify was launched in 2008 by Swedish startup Spotify AB. Spotify has since launched an app for use on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
Integration between Nimble and Spotify would be beneficial because it would allow small business owners to keep track of their finances and also listen to songs on their own Spotify accounts on one platform. In addition, integration between Nimble and Spotify would allow small business owners to manage their finances anywhere the Internet is available, including when they are away from their desks or offices. Small business owners would also be able to check their balance on their phone while they are away from their desk to ensure they will not overdraw their checking account. This integration would improve customer satisfaction because it would allow business owners to have access to all of their financial information on one platform anytime they want.
This article about Nimble and Spotify is very informative about how these two companies can benefit by integrating their services. Although Nimble and Spotify do not currently integrate their services, I believe that this integration will benefit both companies, as well as small business owners who use both platforms. Since I am a small business owner, I like to use Nimble’s financial management software, and I am interested in using Spotify’s music platform, too. I think that if Nimble and Spotify integrated their services together, it would be beneficial for everyone invpved, including myself.
