If these artisans choose not to use either Etsy’s payment processing service or Nimble’s online banking service; then they would have to pay transaction fees associated with credit card payments received from their customers through Etsy’s e-commerce marketplace system before receiving payments into their bank accounts.[6] However, if they use either of these payment processing services described above; then they would not have to pay any transaction fees associated with credit card payments made by their customers using their online accounts on Etsy’s e-commerce marketplace system or Nimble’s online banking system respectively.[7] Alternatively, when artisans receive payments into their bank accounts directly after transferring funds from their customers through either of these payment processing services mentioned above; then they would have an option to list new items for sale directly on Etsy’s e-commerce marketplace platform without having to go through any complicated steps in order to list new items for sale based on what type of product category they are looking forward to list their products under in this e-commerce marketplace system.
