Integrations (e.g. Slack)
TimeCamp Integration with Netlify allows you to connect your time tracking to Netlify’s Continuous Deployment service. In other words, you can automatically deploy your code to Netlify whenever you create or update a TimeCamp task. This is especially useful for web applications where you want to track time on specific functionality, e.g. adding a new feature or fixing a bug.
To integrate Netlify and TimeCamp, go to the integrations section in your TimeCamp account and select “Netlify” from the list of available options on the left side:
After selecting “Netlify”, you will see the “Project settings” dialog box, which will ask you to enter your Netlify API token:
If you do not yet have an API token, you can generate one on Netlify and copy it to the “API token” field in the dialog box. If you already have an API token, you can paste it into this field. The API token is only used to connect your TimeCamp account to your Netlify account and it will not be stored in the TimeCamp database, so you don’t need to worry about security. if you lose your API token, you can regenerate it on Netlify, but you won’t have to change anything in your TimeCamp account. The only thing that should matter to you is that your TimeCamp account is now connected to your Netlify account, so every time you create or update a TimeCamp task, it will automatically deploy that code to your Netlify project:
