Integration of Netlify and SendFox

Netlify

Netlify is a Platform as a Service (PaaS. for web publishing. It provides services for deployment, security, and optimization of websites. Netlify is an online top that is used to create and publish websites or blogs. You can also install it on your own server. Netlify uses Git and Heroku internally so you just need to push your code to the Git repository and Netlify will do all the rest.

SendFox

SendFox is a service which allows you to send emails through your website. SendFox allows you to send emails through web forms. This means that you can use forms on your website to gather information from users and then email them the information they provide. SendFox offers free plans with a limit of 500 emails per month, but if you need more, then there are paid plans in place.

Integration of Netlify and SendFox

To integrate Netlify and SendFox, you must have a Netlify account. Once you have this, go to the dashboard and click on “New site” in the top-right corner. Then pick “New site from Git”. Once you have selected this option, you will be taken to another page where you will see different options for creating your site. Select “GitHub” as your source. Then you should copy the Clone URL for your project and paste it into the text box. It will look something like this – [email protected]:namesake/my-project.git . After pasting in the URL, click “Create site”. Your site should now be created. Now, go back to the dashboard and click on “Site Settings” in the top-left corner. Then, find the “Deployment” section in the left sidebar pane and choose “Heroku” on the right side of the page under “Deployment method”. Then enter your user name and password for your Heroku account. Make sure to select “master” as your application name. Then click “Deploy Site”. Now that your site has been deployed, you must configure SendFox for your site. Go to their website and click on “Add Site” in the top-right corner of the screen. You will see a form that asks for three things. A Site ID , a Site Name , and a Domain . The Site ID is an identifier for your site created by SendFox that is used when sending emails with SendFox. The Site Name should be the name of your site such as “My Blog” or “Netlify Blog”. The Domain is your domain name without any protocp such as http:// or https:// in front of it. For example, if my domain is “myblog123.com” then I would put “myblog123” in the field where it says “Domain name”. After entering these three things, click the checkmark button at the bottom of the page to save your settings. Now that you have configured SendFox, you can use Netlify to send emails whenever someone submits a form on one of your pages. To do this, first place your email address inside a hidden input field on a form such as <input type="hidden" name="mailto" value="[email protected]"> . Then when someone submits this form, then Netlify will automatically send an email using the Email address you provided in the hidden input field when building your form in Netlify.
