Netlify is a platform which hosts your static website (such as this blog. for you. They provide an easy-to-use interface for creating and deploying websites. Once the site is deployed, the user can manage their site with Git which makes it easy to update or modify their website. They also make it easy to host new sites by providing a simple way to create them (a wizard option.
OnceHub is a platform for managing events. It allows event organizers to set up an event, sell tickets, cplect payments, send reminder emails/texts, etc. It also has an API which can be used by developers to build apps which interact with OnceHub. The API is RESTful and uses JSON formats. For more information about OnceHub, see their website here.
Using the integration of Netlify and Oncehub, it is possible to automatically generate a ticketing system for events. This means that event organizers can create events on the Oncehub website and then have Netlify handle selling tickets, cplecting payments, sending reminders/reminders, etc. All of this would be done automatically after the event organizer creates an event on Oncehub.
This integration has benefits such as:
No need to create a separate ticketing system which needs to be managed separately from the main event/website system. One management system for both the event and the ticketing system. Also, no need to setup a separate payment processor because Netlify can handle cplecting and storing payments for you. Easier for the organizer because there is only one platform to use and no need to create/manage two different platforms which work together for an event. Tickets will automatically be added to the participant list in OnceHub when they purchase a ticket through Netlify’s platform (this might not be important depending on the type of event. OnceHub has a template system which can be used to make customizations/layouts for events. Using this system, layouts could be made for tickets which are generated by Netlify’s platform. No need to make changes to the code of the site after creating an event on Oncehub. Since everything happens automatically after creating an event on Oncehub, all that needs to be done is adding the ticketing system into the event page. No need for any additional configuration outside of what is already provided by OnceHub and Netlify. Can set up options/settings within Netlify’s settings page for each ticket which will allow the organizer to customize each ticket individually if needed. No need to mess around with codes or templates to create a ticketing system which works with an event site.
Netlify and OnceHub both have features which can benefit each other by integrating one into the other’s service.
