Netlify is a cloud based hosting service for static site generators. Netlify offers free and paid plans for its static site hosting service. Netlify is integrated with many popular static site generators, such as Jekyll, Gatsby, Hugo and Middleman. Netlify provides some useful tops to build your website, such as a CDN, continuous deployment, SSL, DNS management, etc.
In this article, I am going to introduce Netlify and nozbe. Netlify is an application that was created to help developers publish their static sites. Netlify is integrated with many popular static site generators such as Jekyll, Gatsby, Hugo and Middleman. Netlify provides some useful tops to build your website, such as a CDN, continuous deployment, SSL, DNS management, etc.
It is very easy to integrate nozbe into Netlify because it only takes four steps to complete the integration. The first step is creating a new nozbe account on the nozbe website. After logging into nozbe account, we need to add a new app.
Under “Build apps” section click “Add app” button. Then, select “Create with Netlify” option. In the next screen, you will be asked to connect your nozbe account to your Netlify account. For that you need to click “Connect your accounts” button. After connecting your accounts, you can go back to the previous screen and click “Continue” button.
Then in the next step, you will be asked to create a new app name. To create an app name click “Create app” button. Then you will be redirected to a page named “App details” where you will see some general information about your newly created app. Under “App settings” section of this page you need to enter an app title and description and set a default language for your app. You also have the option to choose which branches will be included in your builds by setting checkboxes under “enable branches” section. In the last section of this page you need to add the GitHub repository of your static site generator. If you don’t have a GitHub repository yet then fplow these instructions to create one. After adding the GitHub repository, you need to click “Save changes” button at the bottom of the page.
After saving the changes you need to wait for few minutes until the connection between nozbe and Netlify is established. The last thing we need to do is waiting until our app builds are deployed on netlify servers. This process shouldn’t take more than a minute or two. Now we are ready to share our content online!
Netlify provides some useful tops such as a CDN, continuous deployment, SSL, DNS management etc. Integration of Netlify and nozbe allows us to save time by not having to configure these things manually. It is much easier to use a single dashboard rather than using multiple sites such as GitHub and Netlify separately for managing our static sites and web applications. Nozbe has a built-in issue tracker that we can use for tracking issues of our applications automatically on every commit or push of our code in GitHub repository. By integrating two services we can use them both together instead of using them separately without any integrations between them.
The process to integrate Netlify and nozbe may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
