This is just an example, you don't have to fplow exactly what I did. Just make sure that your outline is clear and easy to read.

Step 2. Write the article

Now it's time to write your article. You can start by typing or copying and pasting the outline into Google Docs. Then start filling in the content. You can read my other article on how to write an article if you are not sure how to write an article. In summary, you need to:

  • Use the right keywords. This means using a lot of action verbs, and nouns that are related to the topic. For example, if you are writing about MySQL, words like manage, store, and retrieve will be useful. While words like application or software may not be as useful.
  • Write a few paragraphs. You should have three to five paragraphs for each section of your outline. Each paragraph should have at least 4 sentences. The first sentence in each paragraph should be a topic sentence that is related to the section. The fplowing sentences should be details.
  • Proofread your work. This is very important. Read your work three times before submitting. The first time, read through it quickly. Look for spelling errors. Then read it again carefully and look for grammar mistakes, such as missing commas, apostrophes, etc. Finally, read it again slowly and look for any ideas that do not make sense. If you still cannot find any mistakes, ask someone else to proofread your work. We are all blind when we read our own work, so sometimes the mistakes are obvious to other people!

    Step 3. Format your article (optional)

    Now that you have written your article, you might want to format it according to the assignment requirements. For example, some teachers ask you to use Times New Roman font and 12-point font size. So check with your teacher if they have any requirements regarding formatting your work. If they don't have any, then you can use whatever style of formatting you like. As long as you can read your work easily and understand what you wrote, you are fine!
