Cisco® Webex Teams is an online cplaboration platform that provides a chat interface, screen sharing, video conferencing, and integration with other applications and services such as SharePoint and Google Docs. It also includes integrations with third party software including Salesforce, Google Drive, Slack, Twitter, Dropbox and Yammer.(Cisco® Webex Teams)

Integration of MySQL and Cisco® Webex Teams allows users to run queries and scripts on data stored in MySQL from Cisco® Webex Teams. This is made possible by the use of Webex Teams Connector for MySQL. The connector provides a MySQL database as a service to the Cisco® Webex Teams application. The connector consists of a Docker container running on a Kubernetes cluster composed of two nodes. While one node is running the MySQL container, the other node runs the connector application that manages communication between Cisco® Webex Teams and the MySQL container.(MySQL)

The connector integrates two applications through an API gateway. The API gateway handles authentication, authorization, service discovery, and load balancing. The connector adapter app is responsible for connecting to the API gateway and subscribing to events on Cisco® Webex Teams. The adapter app then sends messages to Skype for Business Server 2015, which sends messages to Cisco® Webex Teams, causing the teams client to launch into a web meeting mode.(MySQL)

Cisco® Webex Teams allows users to cplaborate on files even if they are not co-located. This is achieved by uploading files to a server in an organization’s network or cloud storage provider like Microsoft® Azure and Google Cloud Storage (GCS.
