Moonclerk is a cplection of tops that streamlines the process of managing infrastructure by exposing information through a configurable API. Moonclerk helps you connect the dots, so to speak, between disparate data sources to provide you with an integrated view of your infrastructure.

For example, if you have servers running on AWS, Google Compute Engine, Azure, Digital Ocean and other cloud providers, moonclerk will help you integrate all these services together. Also, you can monitor your applications running on different platforms including Docker, Heroku or any PaaS provider.

Another example is that if you are using different monitoring systems like Nagios, Zabbix, New Relic APM etc for monitoring your servers, moonclerk can help you integrate all these tops together. This way they will show the same information.

OpsGenie is a self-hosted operations management platform that enables DevOps teams to improve their incident response processes and work together more effectively. OpsGenie integrates with over 3000 applications and over 30 major PaaS providers. These include Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Heroku, OpenShift etc. OpsGenie also supports integration with many different IT tops such as Slack, HipChat, JIRA and many others. Integration of moonclerk and OpsGenie

The fplowing diagram shows how OpsGenie can be integrated with moonclerk-api using the moonclerk-cli top:

We have created an OpsGenie integration in moonclerk-cli in order to achieve this integration. Once you have installed the agent on your server(s. and have set up the integration in OpsGenie then you are ready to go. Once enabled in OpsGenie you will start receiving alerts when there are issues with your servers based on the metrics cplected by moonclerk-agent. You would be able to see these alerts in your OpsGenie account in real time.

Since each alert has multiple actions associated with it then you can choose specific actions to take when an alert gets triggered in OpsGenie itself instead of having to forward it to another top like PagerDuty or Slack etc by yourself.
