Monkey Learn is an Artificial Intelligence software that allows you to create models, classify data and use them in your applications. It requires no programming skills.
LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms makes it easy for you to capture leads from a variety of sources including your website, blog, email campaigns, social media, and online forms. It allows you to keep track of what’s working and what’s not for each source, generate reports and make real-time optimizations.
In this example, we will walk through the process of using Monkey Learn to create a classification model from a set of images from Google Images. Once the model is created and saved, we will be able to apply it to our Lead Generation form and segment our leads based on their interest in the product we are promoting. We will then show how we can create an automated email campaign that targets these leads based on their interests.
We already have a Google Spreadsheet containing the list of products available on our store and also another spreadsheet with important information about each product such as its title, description, price and image url. We will use this information to train our MonkeyLearn model.
To start, go to www.monkeylearn.com and login using your LinkedIn credentials. Select “Create New Model” and give it a name (in this example we will call it “product_interests”. Then select “Classify Text”. Fill in the URL of the Google product spreadsheet and click “Next”.
On the next screen, select “Upload text file” and upload the second Google spreadsheet containing product information. Click “Next” once you are done.
Now we need to specify the features (attributes. that we want to use for training our model. To do that, click on “Classifier Settings” and then on “Add feature”. Select all the cpumns that you want to include in your model (we will select all of them. Then click “OK”.
We will now use the MonkeyLearn interface to train our model with Google Images data. Go back to https://www.google.com/images/, open the filters menu (top right corner. and select “Similar images”. You should see something like this:
Select all of them (up to 30), copy them and paste them into a new tab of your browser. Then click on the “Classify Text Using This Data Set” link at the top right corner of your MonkeyLearn interface. You will be prompted with the fplowing screen:
Switch all fields to “Full Text” and click “Next”. On the next window, select all the cpumns you used earlier for training the model (in our case they are all. and click “Next” again. The last step is to chose how many cpumns you would like to use for classifier learning (we will choose 5. Then click “Classify” to let MonkeyLearn do its job. If everything went well, you should see something like this:
