Monkey Learn?

MonkeyLearn is an Artificial Intelligence (AI. platform that allows users to upload text for analysis, and then receive the results of the analysis back. There are two main components to the MonkeyLearn platform:

  • The MonkeyLearn API
  • The MonkeyLearn Dashboard

The MonkeyLearn API allows users to upload text to be analyzed. It is possible to perform analysis on one or multiple documents, depending on the level of access purchased by the user. There are three levels of access. Free, Pro, and Team. Free users will only be able to analyze one document at a time. Pro users can analyze up to 200 documents per month, and Team users can analyze unlimited documents per month.

The MonkeyLearn Dashboard allows users to view all of the data they have uploaded to the platform for analysis. Users can organize different datasets into “projects” in order to keep track of their progress. Each dataset can be shared with others or kept private.

Basin?

Basin is a platform designed to draw actionable insights from large datasets. Basin helps its users get outside of the data to understand how it matters to them, and what they need to do about it. Basin offers its users a wide variety of visualizations within its ecosystem, including histograms, scatterplots, bar charts, and more. Basin also offers a way to plot time series data, which is useful for companies looking to plot sales over a period of time. Basin calls this feature “Timeline”. Data can be plotted in a variety of ways within Timeline, including hourly, daily, monthly, weekly, and yearly.

Integration of Monkey Learn and Basin

MonkeyLearn and Basin share a similar purpose—to help people use large datasets to make smarter business decisions. Both platforms allow the user to upload large amounts of data in order to better understand it.
