Since both products use JSON documents, it allowed Freshsales to use the existing document structure of MongoDB to integrate with Freshsales. The integration of MongoDB and Freshsales was done through custom developed connectors (for both read and write. between MongoDB and Freshsales. These connectors were developed by leveraging MongoDB’s JavaScript driver by using the NodeJS framework. The connectors are open-source and can be found on Github. The read connector is still in development, but the write connector is already available for users. The goal of the read connector is to allow users to read their data from MongoDB into Freshsales without writing any code. However, this feature currently only works with small datasets.
