monday.com is a cplaborative task management application that works with Microsoft SharePoint to create an integrated, intelligent workspace. It is used for cplaboration, communication and project management.

monday.com has different components for each of these functionalities. Those are:

Tasks - We can use monday.com app on mobile device to manage tasks, assign them to people, set due dates and tag items with relevant information. Email Integration - We can integrate monday.com with our email account to get emails into My Tasks view in monday.com . Weekly Reports - We can get weekly reports via email on new tasks, start dates for tasks, new tasks by tags and completed tasks. Chatter - Chat with other users in the workspace or on team projects (if there is any. Files - Manage files in My Tasks view, create new fpders and tag them with relevant information. Resources - Add resources to tasks and get notifications when resources are available for work. Time off - Create time off requests and set reminders whenever they are due. 2 . Benefits of Integration of monday.com and SharePoint

monday.com and SharePoint have a lot in common as they both provide a platform to cplaborate and communicate with the remote teams and the customers. Both of them have similar features such as Task Management, Resource Management, Document Management etc. So it is very easy to integrate those two platforms together as one system. In addition to that both of them offer an option to export data from one platform to another as shown in the picture below:

In this way we can transfer the data from monday.com to SharePoint or from SharePoint to monday.com as per our requirements. But there is a drawback in exporting data from one place to another as we will lose a lot of information if we try to import data from a big database into a smaller database or vice versa. For example, if we try to import hundreds of thousands of tasks from monday.com into SharePoint we will lose a lot of information such as tags associated with each task, due dates etc because SharePoint does not support these fields by default. In order to import data from one platform to another we need to perform some manual operations to keep all the information intact rather than importing everything into the target database.
