I want to discuss the integration of Mixpanel and Google Ads. First, I will describe what Mixpanel is and what Google Ads is. Next, I will explain why the integration of Mixpanel and Google Ads is important. Finally, I will conclude my article.
Mixpanel is a SaaS (Software as a Service. product that provides analytics for mobile apps. The company was founded in 2008 by Suhail Doshi, Alex Bekker, Tim Trefren, and Mike Knoop. It has about 150 employees and currently has offices in San Francisco; New York; London; and Berlin. It was acquired by Salesforce.com on May 2017.
According to its official website (https://mixpanel.com/), Mixpanel is “a top that helps you understand how users behave on your website or mobile app” (Mixpanel.com. It allows you to track many different events such as page views, clicks, button presses, and even forms submitted by users. You can also track any action users take like. adding an item to their shopping cart, watching a video, filling up a form, etc. It also gives you some very useful reports such as daily active users (DAU), monthly active users (MAU), and conversion rate. Besides that, it also offers features such as A/B testing and real-time reporting.
Mixpanel has some competitors such as. Google Analytics, Kissmetrics, Appsee, and Adobe Analytics. However, I found three main advantages of Mixpanel compared to its competitors. 1. first, it has a good and easy to use interface which makes tracking and analyzing your data easier than other tops; 2. second, it can track all sorts of events from basic ones like clicking buttons or logging into a site to more complex ones like changing a setting or creating a new leads; 3. last, it is very affordable with a free plan that allows you to track 10,000 events per month at no cost.
Google Ads is a platform that helps small businesses gain visibility on websites and apps through search results. It consists of three main products. AdWords, AdSense, and DoubleClick. Google Ads was formed in 2000 after Google acquired DoubleClick. In 2002, the company combined its DoubleClick and AdWords products into what we call now Google Ads today. In 2003, the company launched AdSense which placed ads from sites that have been approved by Google on other sites they do not contrp. In addition to this ad platform, the company also offers a measurement platform called Google Analytics which is popular among marketers as well as developers around the world. In 2004, the company created another ad platform called AdWords for content which placed ads from third parties on publisher sites without requiring changes to those sites’ code. That same year, they also acquired Invite Media which allowed advertisers to manage multiple campaigns from one interface. Five years later, they integrated Invite Media with DoubleClick's management system (DoubleClick Campaign Manager. Then in 2012, they renamed Invite Media to DoubleClick Bid Manager (DBM. Later that year, they created another ad platform called Google Display Network (GDN. Since then the company has continued to grow its services through acquisitions like YouTube (in 2006), Admeld (in 2010), DoubleClick (in 2007), and Zagat (in 2011.
