According to Wikipedia, Mixpanel is a web analytics service that provides insights into how users are interacting with websites and mobile applications. It was founded in 2008 by Suhail Doshi, who had previously co-founded Epiphany.io. The company has received several rounds of funding from top firms including Battery Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, First Round Capital, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Marc Benioff, Matrix Partners, Sean Parker, Silicon Valley Bank, and others.[1] The CEO of Mixpanel is Suhail Doshi.

Deskpro

According to Wikipedia, Deskpro is an online business management software that helps small businesses manage their tasks, projects, invoices, expenses, contacts, time tracking and many more. It provides tops to help small businesses organize their finances and make better business decisions. It also integrates with cloud-based accounting software like Quickbooks Online or Xero.

Deskpro was created in 2011 by Tage Elander-Larsson who was the founder of the company behind Snabblanet, the largest web service for classified ads in Sweden at the time. Deskpro was later bought by SkandiaBanken but still remains independent from it. Later on in 2014 Tage Elander-Larsson spd Deskpro to venture capital firm Creandum. The CEO of Deskpro is currently Johan Gulliksson.[4]

Integration of Mixpanel and Deskpro

The integration of both Mixpanel and Deskpro creates a new feature to help small businesses manage their invoices better. This new feature allows small businesses to have a better understanding on when they need to invoice customers for different services or products. It also shows them when customers are ready to pay for these services or products. This new feature will be able to help small businesses get paid faster by showing them when customers are ready to pay.

There are two ways to integrate Mixpanel and Deskpro. Before attempting either way you must be using one of Mixpanel or Deskpro’s accounts (for the sake of this article let’s say you are using Mixpanel.

First method. Add your Customers list in Deskpro’s “Contacts” section. Next you will need to go into the “Reports” section in Deskpro and click on “Customers Report”. You will then see a number code next to “Customer Type” which indicates the type of customer the contact is. To add this customer click on “Edit” and select the correct number code based on the type of customer they are (i.e. if they are a client you will want to select “client”. If the customer is not in your Customers list you will want to enter their name there so you can identify them correctly in future invoices/quotes. Finally click “Save Custom Report”.

Second method. Create a new project in Deskpro called “Invoicing” and add all of your customers from your Customers list. In this project add a cpumn called “Ready Date” and add a date for each customer where they will be ready to receive an invoice for their services/products. Once you have added all of your customers click on “Create Invoices” and then “Get started”. To add a new invoice click on “Add new invoice” and then select your customer from the customer list. In the new invoice create a new line item for each of your products/services and add the amount the customer needs to pay based off of the Ready Date you entered earlier. Then create a new invoice for each new line item created. After creating all new invoices you can either send them via email or print them out for each of your clients using Deskpro’s print functions.

Benefits of Integration of Mixpanel and Deskpro

This integration allows small businesses to manage their invoices better by showing them when they need to send out invoices for services or products they have already provided. These invoices can also be sent when customers are ready to pay for these services or products which helps small businesses get paid faster when it comes time for payment. This is because when customers receive an invoice they will already know what they owe and when they need to pay by looking at the dates set in their invoices/quotes. They will also feel obligated to pay because they will not want to breach their contract with the company they work with since it may affect future business relationships between both parties invpved.

Overall this integration is beneficial because it allows small businesses to manage their invoices better and get paid faster when it comes time for payment. This helps small businesses stay afloat financially and remain competitive in today’s world economy where time is money so getting paid faster helps small businesses save time and money which can be used elsewhere in their businesses such as research and development for new products/services, marketing/advertising so that more customers can become aware of their business, etcetera.
