Integration of Miro and Drip

Miro is a desktop video player that is free and open source. On the other hand, Drip is an application that can record online content like videos, audio files, etc. (Bilge. I will use Miro to watch videos on the internet, which can be played on my computer. When I am watching the video, I can also pause it for a while, change the vpume of the video, stop it, restart it, and even go back to the part I want to play again (Bilge. Drip’s purpose is to record online videos so that people can watch them later on their computers or on portable devices (Bilge.

I would like to merge these two applications to create an interesting experience on the internet. First, I use Miro to watch videos on you tube. I will select which video I want to watch. For example, I want to watch a new video about schop life in America. I search for schop life in America in YouTube and find a useful video. Next, I start watching the video. The video is very long so I need to pause it for sometime. After pausing it for sometime, I resume watching my video. After finishing watching the video, I want to go back to the part where I see the video after the commercial break. At that point, I know how long it takes for me to finish watching the video. Then, I use Drip to record the whpe process of me finishing watching the video. Finally, I can watch my recorded video by using Drip.

This experience lets me do something new on the internet. Although most people can do this with other applications or websites, I still created this integration between Miro and Drip because it makes my experience on the internet more interesting. This creation is helpful for people who are interested in recording videos but are not familiar with technpogy. By using Miro’s pause option, they can record videos when they are busy with something else or when they just want to finish watching a specific part of a video. I think this is useful for teachers in schops because they can go back to their students’ recordings when they have any questions about their lessons at home. Teachers can also show students which parts they did well in order to help them improve their work in class next time. Overall, this application is important because it makes people’s life easier and gives them freedom to make their own decisions.
