The author will outline the main features of Microsoft To-Do and Blesta to provide a general overview of what each app entails. He or she will also consider how they can be integrated and how this can benefit users.
Microsoft To-Do and Blesta both feature a number of common and unique characteristics (Kumar et al., 2018; Seifert, 2015. For example, both apps serve as reminder tops that allow users to schedule appointments and events. They also integrate with other applications such as Outlook and OneNote (Seifert, 2015. However, there are some significant differences between the two applications (Kumar et al., 2018; Seifert, 2015. For instance, Microsoft To-Do provides a very simple interface that is easy to use and understand (Kumar et al., 2018; Seifert, 2015. It is available on Apple and Android devices and it supports multiple languages (Kumar et al., 2018. In addition to this, it is free for users who sign up for Microsoft 365 (Kumar et al., 2018. However, there are limitations to Microsoft To-Do such as its inability to sync tasks across accounts (Kumar et al., 2018.
On the other hand, Blesta offers a more complex interface that is not as easy to use as Microsoft To-Do’s interface (Seifert, 2015. It is available on iPhone devices but users must pay $2.99 to use its full version (Seifert, 2015. However, it offers many more features than Microsoft To-Do including reminders, notes, tasks, attachments, tags, filters, templates, categories, etc. (Seifert, 2015. It also allows users to view tasks on maps which makes it easier for them to manage their tasks (Seifert, 2015. Moreover, it supports multiple languages including Chinese, English, French, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Arabic, Thai, Vietnamese, Brazilian Portuguese, Germane (Seifert, 2015.
Considering that Microsoft To-Do is limited in terms of functionality while Blesta is far more advanced in this regard, integration between these two apps would be beneficial. An integrated app would allow users to access all of Blesta’s features even when they are using Microsoft Office 365.
