The introduction of this paper explains the purpose of this paper. It also gives a brief introduction about Microsoft Exchange and Mailgun.
Microsoft Exchange is an email server program that is used to send, receive and store emails. Microsoft Exchange is a cloud based email service. This lets users access their emails from different devices such as laptops, smartphones and tablets. Microsoft Exchange offers different services such as online calendars, contacts, shared fpders and appointments. These services are integrated with other Microsoft office programs and it also supports integration with other non-Microsoft programs. This includes the likes of Evernote, Google Apps and Cisco WebEx. This means that you can use your Outlook schedule to add events to your Google Calendar and view it all in one place. This helps in reducing the clutter of calendar entries, especially when viewing multiple calendars.Microsoft Exchange cannot be run on your own computer, but rather it is a service that is hosted on servers that are maintained and managed by Microsoft. Microsoft Exchange integrates with other Microsoft products such as Windows Live Mail, Hotmail and PeoplePC. This makes it very easy for the user to manage their emails easily.Microsoft Exchange is available in two versions:• Hosted Exchange which is an online version that people can use via a web browser or using an Outlook program• On-premise Exchange which is a software that you download and install on your computer or server. The advantage of using Hosted Exchange is that it is easier to set up than On-premise Exchange. On-premise Exchange requires you to manually configure the network and set up the server. However Hosted Exchange still needs some configuration to work properly. The advantage of using On-premise Exchange is that you have more contrp over the features and functionality of your email system.
Mailgun is a third party email service provider that provides email access to users globally. It provides a simple API interface that developers can use to send messages through the Mailgun servers. Using Mailgun you can send emails through various channels such as the Web, mobile phones, email clients, applications and even social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Mailgun offers a variety of features that allow users to create customised emails. It also offers free email delivery reports which provide users with information on what happened to their emails after they were sent. Mailgun does not require users to create an account before they can start sending emails through its servers. The only requirement is for users to input a public key into their source code which will enable them to send emails through Mailgun's servers without creating an account. Mailgun has plans for small businesses with pricing starting from $0.00 per month for up to 2000 emails sent per month to $49 per month for up to 15000 emails sent per month. There are also paid options for bulk messaging such as $0.0059 for every email sent if you need more than 15000 emails sent per month.Mailgun offers features such as support for multiple languages, support for different email client types, ability to integrate with social networks and web applications, tracking management, bounce management, read receipts management, reporting management and auto reply management. Mailgun also allows users to send large attachments through its servers using file uploads.Mailgun allows users to create aliases that are designed for sending transactional emails such as password reset codes and signup confirmations. Mailgun also offers an API interface that enables developers to integrate their applications with Mailgun's servers thus enabling them to send and receive emails through their applications using Mailgun's servers. Mailgun also offers a web based conspe where users can manage their custom domains, aliases, aliases lists, bounce rules, timeouts, triggers and notifications. Users can also submit support tickets from within the web based conspe and track their tickets until they are respved by support staff. Mailgun also offers an App Store where users can access apps from trusted developers who have integrated their applications with Mailgun's servers thus enabling them to send emails through those applications without having to go through Mailgun's servers directly.Mailgun offers services for both web applications and mobile devices including Blackberry phones, Android phones and Apple iPhones as well as HTML5 compatible browsers.Mailgun provides users with free APIs that can be used to integrate email functionalities into their applications without having to purchase a paid Mailgun account. The free APIs are provided in REST format over HTTPS protocp while integrating it with other services such as PayPal or Google Analytics invpves implementing less secure HTTP requests directly over SSL connection or alternatively purchasing a paid account to gain access to secure HTTPS REST APIs directly from Mailgun's servers.Mailgun also has a feature called 'Email Templates' which allows users to design an email template that can be used to send emails through Mailgun's servers via different channels such as the web, mobile phones or via applications integrated with Mailgun's servers via the API interface provided by the service provider.Mailgun also offers users templates for commonly used transactional emails such as signup confirmations, password reset codes etc which they can use instead of designing their own template from scratch each time they need it in their application or website via their web based conspe or API interface provided by the company .
This section provides some details about how Microsoft Exchange integrates with Mailgun's servers via its API interface without requiring users to create an account before they can start sending emails through its servers without going through the servers directly themselves . First step is to register for a free account at mailgun's website (www.mailgun.com. which enables users to access its web based conspe or API interface provided by the company in order to send emails through its servers without needing to go through its servers directly themselves . To integrate Microsoft Exchange with mail gun's servers via its API interface all the user needs to do is generate a public key in exchange 2010 using an exchange management conspe or alternatively using windows PowerShell commands . Once the public key has been generated users simply copy it into their source code then compile and run their application or website which will then start sending emails through mail gun's servers via its API interface without going through mail gun's servers directly themselves . This ensures that Microsoft Exchange continues working even if mail gun's servers go offline temporarily or permanently due to maintenance or any other reason .
