There is also a free version of Exchange Server known as Microsoft Exchange Online, which supports only email, contacts and calendar synchronization for up to 25 users.
Kanban is a method for software development originated from the Toyota Production System (TPS. The method was originally developed to manage demand and supply in manufacturing environments. Kanban is a Japanese word meaning “signboard” that was used in Toyota factories to indicate how many parts were used or needed. Kanban helps teams to prioritize tasks and completes them based on the value they add to the project. The key benefit of using Kanban is to reduce waste and optimize utilization of resources.
The integration of kanban Top and Microsoft Exchange can be done in two ways:
Using kanban board
Using email notifications
Kanban Board
The kanban board within kanban top allows the user to create work items and assign them to people. You can create new work items within kanban top and assign it to an individual or group. When an item is assigned, the person assigned receives an email notification from kanban top to indicate that there is a new item assigned to him/her. Once an item is completed it can be marked as “done” and the status will be updated on the board and the assigned person will receive an email notification. Emails can also be sent to everyone who is assigned on a particular task. This email will contain the tasks that are not completed along with its status. All the emails that are sent by kanban top can be configured accordingly. There are also times when you want to send a notice to all the team members about a task or a project. This can be done using kanban top by sending an email notification to all the team members instead of sending a separate email to each person individually. The setup process takes only a few minutes and once it is complete, you will be ready to start using kanban top and integrate it with Microsoft Exchange.
Email Notifications
You can receive email notifications for any given work item you have created within kanban top. You can define the frequency of these notifications according to your preference. These email notifications will keep you informed about all the important events related to the tasks assigned to you. For example, if you are assigned on a task in kanban top and you have not worked on it for the whpe day, you will get an email notification telling you that you have not worked on this task for a while. This way you do not need to check on the status of the task every now and then and hence you can stay focused on your current tasks without worrying about your other unfinished tasks. You can also specify whether or not you want to receive reminders about your tasks and how often you want them to send you reminders. After receiving an email notification about a task, you can directly open up kanban top in order to complete that task or update its status so it would not be sent any more reminders about it. Just like the integration with Kanban board, the setup process for receiving email notifications is very easy and quick. After setting up timers and frequency of emails, you are ready to use kanban top and receive email notifications about your tasks that are assigned to you.
Integrating kanban Top and Microsoft Exchange provides several benefits such as keeping track of your tasks, reducing time wastage due to not being aware of your project’s status and staying focused on your current tasks without getting distracted by other unfinished tasks within kanban top itself or Microsoft Exchange’s built-in email client. Additionally, using kanban top with Microsoft exchange also reduces spam emails. Every time a new task is created or assigned, an email notification will be sent which is something that cannot be done using Microsoft Exchange alone without using third party applications like Outlook add-ons. Another benefit is that kanban top can receive work requests via email without having an account on kanban top which makes it easier for clients to send work requests without creating their own account just for this purpose. This saves time for both parties invpved with minimal effort required from both sides which leads to better productivity and efficiency at workplace at the end of day!
