Integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Quick Base

I am going to give a brief introduction of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Quick Base.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 was initially founded in 2011 with the aim of providing a full ERP platform offering to midsize business across industries. The product had been rebranded as Dynamics 365 Business Central in 2017. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a cloud-hosted offering that gives companies access to applications that are integrated into one another. You get access to more than just accounting software, but also have access to customer relationship management (CRM), project management, sales force automation (SFA), point of sale (POS), and even social channels. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central offers modules for each of these areas, and you can mix and match them however you choose to fit your business needs.

Quick Base is an on-demand business management spution that runs on the cloud. It helps businesses stay on top of all their operations through integrated cloud-based services. Quick Base users can create powerful business sputions that are tailored to their unique business needs. With Quick Base, you can manage your entire business on one online platform where you can create, manage, and share visually appealing dashboards displaying real-time information based on data entered by employees.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a single unified spution across the entire organization. It offers 5 main modules. CRM, Financials, Sales, Operations, and Project Service Automation (PSA. These modules are tightly integrated so that data can flow seamlessly between them. However, they are not identical to each other, which makes them more flexible than most other platforms. This flexibility grants you the ability to customize the system to your specific needs or integrate it with other existing systems.

You can mix and match modules based on your business’ need. For example, if you need help with customer service, but don’t need any accounting software, you would only pay for the CRM module. If you want help with your finances, but don’t need customer service software, you would only pay for the Financials module. This makes it extremely easy to tailor the system to your company’s needs specifically, while still achieving integration among the different modules.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is known for its deep integration with Microsoft Office products like Outlook and Excel, which allows you to easily share documents and data between them without having to break out of the system every time you want to refer to a file or do some research.

The system has a number of ways it integrates with third party applications outside of Microsoft Office products. One way is through the use of APIs (application programming interfaces. which allow you to access data from your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central enterprise into external business applications using code written in external programming languages. Another way is by using Microsoft PowerApps, which allows users to build mobile sputions right inside the user interface without having access to code. With PowerApps users can create forms that are similar to what they are used to seeing in Dynamics 365 Business Central including buttons, dropdowns, check boxes, etc., but can also include charts and graphs along with custom calculations and formulas. This allows users to make pleasing customized reports without having to call in an expert programmer, which is often costly and slow.

Another advantage of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is its cost savings. Rather than having multiple software packages with separate licenses for each one, there are only two licenses needed for the system. one for the server that hosts the data and another license for each user accessing it via an application. This makes it much easier to budget the monthly cost of the system because you don’t have nagging questions about how much each application will cost you each month. This also means that if you don’t need all of the applications included in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, you aren’t paying for them either.

Quick Base is an all-in-one business management spution that provides 24/7 support so your business can operate smoothly at all times. It comes with a variety of features such as dashboards and analytics, security features such as two factor authentication and smart card login support, and integrated social media support such as Google+, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook feeds built right into the platform so that your employees can easily update their statuses without ever leaving the app. Users can also add custom feeds from outside sources such as websites and news outlets for even more streamlined information.

Another benefit of Quick Base is that it is hosted in the cloud, which means that it requires no maintenance or updates besides what happens automatically when using the platform’s portal website. This makes it ideal for small businesses who may not have IT experts on staff or can’t afford expensive upgrades or maintenance costs. Remotely hosted programs such as Quick Base also eliminate worries about data loss because everything is saved in one centralized location rather than depending on a desktop computer or mobile device being connected at all times. This can be useful for workers who travel frequently or go out into the field where internet connections may be unreliable or unavailable at times. Since Quick Base also has a mobile app available for smartphones and tablets users can always access their data even when they aren’t connected to Wi-Fi or working from their desktops.

In conclusion, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central has been around longer than Quick Base and has more features available to it than Quick Base does currently. However, Quick Base has been gaining popularity recently due to its ease of use, social media integrations, and ability to be accessed from anywhere at any time. Because of this there is a lot of promise in Quick Base becoming a major player in the business management software industry whether directly competing with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or complementing it in a way that benefits both companies moving forward.

The process to integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Quick Base may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
