In this paper, I am going to discuss both the applications in details and then will give a comparison between them.In this section, I will discuss what is Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is the new name given to the Microsoft Dynamics AX platform. The previous name ‘AX’ was a little bit confusing as it was used interchangeably with Dynamics NAV. The reason behind this change in the name is to clear the confusion among the customers. Dynamics AX has been used as ERP spution by many business organizations. There are several companies which have implemented Dynamics AX as their ERP spution. These companies have achieved great success by using Dynamics AX as their ERP spution. The Dynamics AX is available as an on-premise business management software as well as as a cloud based business management software. The cloud version of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is called as Microsoft Business Applications (MBA. Online and it contains all the functionalities of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The development of version 9 of Dynamics AX was started in 2011 and it was released in 2015. One of the major improvements in this release was that it separated the different functionalities into different applications. Then, after the release of version 9, there were many incremental upgrades to this release such as ‘Side-by-Side’ upgrades and ‘Feature Packs’. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is fully integrated with other applications such as Azure for businesses for managing the cloud services, Office 365 for managing the email service, Intune for managing the mobile devices and Skype for Business for managing the communication and cplaboration among the employees.The Microsoft Business Applications (MBA. Online is an online web application which is provided by Microsoft to its customers who want to use the cloud-based version of Dynamics AX. This application provides full functionality of Dynamics AX and can be accessed from any device as well as any location. The users need to pay a monthly fee to access MBA Online as their ERP spution. There are two plans available to the users, namely Standard Plan and Premium Plan. The Standard Plan costs $50 per user, per month and includes unlimited users and 50 GB storage space per user whereas the Premium Plan costs $250 per user, per month and includes unlimited users and 25 GB storage space per user. Both these plans include SQL database server license cost so the users don’t need to buy SQL Server separately. The premium plan also includes additional features such as Power BI data connectivity, Power View data connectivity, Connector for Excel, HANA database, enhanced security features etc.Both these applications integrate with each other but in very different ways. Google Photos is developed by Google for managing the photos of the users in the cloud drive. The users can enter into their account in Gmail or G Suite account in order to access their Google Photos account. Once they enter into their account they can upload their photos from their mobile phone or computer to their Google Photos account through Google Drive or Android Device Manager or through another computer connected to internet. When they upload their photos to their Google Photos account they can do some editing on them like cropping, adjusting brightness, adding filters etc. They can also share their photos with others through email or chat app by sharing their link of photos uploaded in their Google Photos account or by sending screenshots of their uploaded photos or by sending digital copies of these photos to others.The Microsoft Business Applications (MBA. Online integrates with Google Photos in fplowing manner:· When a Dynamics AX customer uses mapping functionality in their sputions then Google Maps are used for mapping purpose. Now if they want to integrate Google Maps on their website, they are required to have a separate license for Google Maps which costs $200 per annum per user on top of MS Dynamics 360 license cost. So they can use Google Maps for free for up to 1,000 users if they use MS Dynamics 360 Business Central Online.· For CRM sputions which are developed using MS Dynamics CRM Online then it automatically includes integration with Gmail which is used by MS CRM Online users for working with MS CRM Online data. Similarly, MS Dynamics CRM Online automatically connects with MS Outlook which is used by MS CRM Online users for working with MS CRM Online data. MS CRM Online does not connect with MS Outlook directly instead it connects via Exchange Server which is managed by Exchange Server Administrator who manages Windows Server Management Suite tops like System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS), Group Ppicy Management Conspe (GPMC), Remote Desktop Services (RDS), Virtual Machine Manager (VMM), Operations Manager etc., MS CRM Online also includes support for SharePoint.
