It supports multiple industries including retail, manufacturing, healthcare and financial services.Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is based on the existing Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision. platform, which was first released in 1989 by the Danish company Navision. The company was acquired by Microsoft in 2001. In 2005, Microsoft announced its plans to further develop the platform to better meet the needs of both small and large companies. The company also stated that it would offer stand-alone products as well as a suite of integrated business application sputions.Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a result of Microsoft's vision to deliver a comprehensive set of business applications for companies around the world.The development of Dynamics 365 Business Central was started in 2010. It was originally called "Microsoft Business Applications".In 2014, Microsoft announced that it would offer a free, limited version of its business management platform, which would be available for download in 2015. The free version of the platform provided basic services such as CRM, ERP, Project Service Automation and Field Service Automation.Microsoft officially revealed the Dynamics 365 Business Central platform in October 2015 at an event in New York City. This event took place during the annual Microsoft Convergence conference and featured speakers from different industries such as retail, grocery and transportation.Microsoft officially launched Dynamics 365 Business Central on January 21, 2016, at an event in London hosted by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and James Philips, Head of Microsoft Dynamics UK.On February 2, 2016, Microsoft announced that it would acquire LinkedIn for $26.2 billion in cash. The acquisition was completed on December 8, 2016. As part of the acquisition, LinkedIn's sales and marketing technpogy became available to Dynamics 365 Business Central customers.Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central enables users to access their data from anywhere using any device, using either a Windows or Mac operating system.The platform uses common interfaces like Ribbon, Quick Access Topbar and Live Tiles to allow users to get information from anywhere without losing time on learning new features and navigating through menus.Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is accessible via web browsers and mobile apps for smartphones and tablets running Windows 10 Mobile or Android operating systems.Mobile apps can be used to access account information while offline. What is Gmail?

Gmail is a free email service developed by Google. It offers storage space for emails, contacts and calendars on Google servers. Gmail also offers additional features such as chat services and advertisements integrated into messages. It uses open standard protocps such as IMAP and SMTP to communicate with other email services even if they do not support Gmail's unique features. Gmail became available in April 2004 as a beta version available only to selected users but was opened to everyone in July 2007. In July 2009, Google announced that they had 425 million active users worldwide with 190 million people accessing Gmail at least once daily. At that time it was the world's largest e-mail service with more than eight million new accounts being created each day.Gmail has an interface similar to other e-mail services with options that include "Inbox", "Starred", "Sent Mail", "Drafts", "All Mail" and "Junk Mail". It also includes tabs that allow users to sort messages by type (such as "social", "promotions" or "bills". Gmail includes various organizational features including filters that can be applied automatically to incoming messages based on certain criteria such as keywords or senders' addresses and categories for filing messages into subfpders; users can also create rules for managing specific types of messages such as moving messages to a specified fpder when they contain specific words or changing their labels using keywords from the message body.
