Integration of Mention and Zoho Inventory

Mention

Mention is a monitoring top, which helps users to track mentions of their brand, product, or competitors on the web. It also helps to analyze online discussions and conversations about the brand. This information can be very useful for businesses to understand what their customers are thinking and saying about their products or services.

Zoho Inventory

Zoho Inventory is an integrated inventory management system, which helps businesses to manage items, assets and suppliers. It also helps to track orders, manage purchase orders and monitor stock.

Integration of Mention and Zoho Inventory

Integrating Mention with Zoho Inventory will allow businesses to track the fplowing activities related to their business:

Monitoring their business’s brand mentions on social media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Google+), websites, blogs and IM platforms.

Tracking the online conversations about their brand or competitors’ brands.

Identifying the top influencers in the online conversations and knowing what they are saying about the brand.

Analyzing the sentiment (positive, negative. about the brand in the online conversations.

Monitoring negative mentions about their brand, products or services.

Analysis of the social media chatter about their products or services.

Tracking competitor’s product updates and new features.

Asking questions related to any products or services by using Mention’s advanced tagging system.

Monitoring the company’s brand mentions on any social media platform, website, blog or IM service. For example, if a user wants to monitor their brand on Twitter, they can do so by going to the Mention monitoring dashboard and selecting Twitter as one of the channels where they want to track the brand mentions. Then, using the search box at the top left corner of the dashboard, they can enter any keywords related to the brand, and Mention will display all the results for those keywords in real time. Users can choose from several views to display the results, such as Top Mentions, Top Influencers, Negative Mentions, Positive Mentions, Top Authors and Top URLs. In addition, users can also use Mention’s advanced tagging system to track any topics of interest related to their business by adding relevant tags such as competitor’s brand names or keywords related to products or services. Note. Users can use Mention’s advanced tagging system to add tags to any topic of interest related to their business. For example, if a user wants to add a tag named “products” to any mention related to their products or services, they can do so by going to Settings > Tags and clicking on Add New Tag button at the top right corner of their screen. As shown in Figure 2 below, they can then enter their desired tag name (e.g. products. and click on Save Changes button at the bottom of their screen. Figure 2. Adding a tag called “products” to any mention related to our business In addition, users can also create filters for specific types of mentions or keywords related to their business. For example, if a user wants Mention to show them all tweets about their products but exclude any tweets about the pricing of their products, then they can create a filter for tweets containing any mentions of their products but excluding any mention of the word “pricing” by going to Settings > Filters and clicking on Add Filter button at the top right corner of their screen as shown in Figure 3 below. Creating an advanced filter using Mention’s advanced tagging system To create this filter, users must first go to Settings > Filters and click on Add Filter button at the top right corner of their screen as shown in Figure 3 above. Then they must click on Advanced Filter button at the top left corner of their screen as shown in Figure 5 below. Figure 5. Creating an advanced filter using Mention’s advanced tagging system After clicking on Advanced Filter button at the top left corner of their screen as shown in Figure 5 above, users must first select one of the filters that has already been created from the drop-down list at the top left corner of their screen (as shown in Figure 6 below). Note that in order for a tag to appear in this list, it must have previously been added using Mention’s advanced tagging system as explained above. Figure 7. Selecting one or more filters from drop-down list After selecting all filters from drop-down lists provided, users must click on Add Selected Filters button at the bottom right corner of their screen as shown in Figure 9 below. Clicking on Add Selected Filters button Once all filters are selected as explained above and clicked on Add Selected Filters button at the bottom right corner of their screen as shown in Figure 9 above, users must then click on Done button at the bottom right corner of their screen as shown in Figure 10 below. Clicking on Done button Now that an advanced filter has been created as explained above and clicked on Done button at the bottom right corner of their screen as shown in Figure 10 above, users must then click on Apply Filter button at the bottom right corner of their screen as shown in Figure 11 below. Clicking on Apply Filter button This will take them back to Mention’s main dashboard where they should see any mentions that matched any filters for which they have applied an advanced filter (as shown in Figure 12 below. Note that these mentions will now be marked with Has Advanced Tag(s. label. Figure 12.
