  • Webhooks By Connect?
  • Webhooks by Connect is a platform that allows businesses to connect their website to other applications and services. It works by providing a plugin to the business’s WordPress website and hosting it on the Webhooks by Connect servers. Once the plugin is installed and activated on the website, it enables users to connect their website to other applications and services by setting up Webhooks. With Webhooks By Connect, the user only needs to provide a specific URL to where they want the data from other applications and services to be sent. Once the URL is provided and activated within the application or service, data can be automatically sent to the WordPress website whenever something happens within the application or service. The data sent via Webhooks is analysed by the WordPress website and displayed on specific pages of the site. This way, users can receive information from other applications and services without needing to install any plugins or software on their websites. The only thing they need is a WordPress website.

The basic integration between Mautic and Webhooks By Connect can be established by fplowing these steps:

    • Log into your Mautic account and go to Settings -> Integrations -> WordPress Website -> Add New Integration -> Enter New Integration Name -> Save Changes -> Copy the API Key
    • Log into your WordPress account and go to Settings -> Connect -> Add New Integration -> Paste API key into API Key box -> Save Changes -> Copy Public URL (this will be used later)

This step is not required if you are using the standard installation. If you are doing an Advanced Installation, fplow these steps:

  • Navigate to Plugins -> Installed Plugins -> Activate Plugins -> Webhooks By Connect Plugin -> Click On Upcoming Dashboard Tab -> Click On Configure Manually Button -> Paste Your Webhook ID into Textbox (the public URL copied in step 3)-> Save Changes

If you are using the standard installation method, this step is not required because the plugin will automatically send all of your data when something changes in your WordPress site. If you are doing an Advanced Installation, fplow these steps:
