Mautic + Stripe Integrations

Mautic is a marketing automation platform. It’s one of the best, if not the best, open source CRMs out there. That might seem like a bpd claim, but it’s true. Mautic has so many features and capabilities that you’ll be hard-pressed to find a CRM that can do everything it can do.

Stripe is a company that makes it easier for businesses to accept payments online. Stripe is a payment processor, which means they take care of the processing part of any transaction. They’re known for their easy setup, fast API integration, and simple pricing plans.

Let’s connect these two platforms together! In this article, we’ll show you how to create a Stripe account, add a product to your Mautic store, understand how to set up the integration between the two platforms, and finally, how to process a payment in Mautic using Stripe.

Stripe is a payment processor. If you have a business online, you have to have a way for people to pay you money. There are a couple of ways to do this, but Stripe is the easiest. Stripe provides a credit card processor that either charges their clients or partners a flat fee per month or charges them a percentage of every transaction.

Stripe handles all the transactions, so all you have to do is set up your payment options in your online store. And because you don’t have to worry about the credit card processing, you can focus on building your website and keeping your customers happy. You can read more about Stripe here.

It takes just 3 steps to integrate Stripe with Mautic:

You need to get your API keys from Stripe. Go to your account settings on Stripe and click “Show API Keys” at the top right corner of the page (this will only be visible after you’ve logged in. Under API Keys, click “Show API Key” Copy the API Secret key and API Key. This will allow us to make REST API calls to Stripe later on. After you’ve got your API keys from Stripe, go back to Mautic and log into your admin area. Click on the store tab then click on the menu icon on the left hand side under STORE SETUP section. On the next page click on “Stripe Elements” button. On the page you should see some default elements on the left hand side of the screen. Click on the “Add Element” button on the right hand side of the screen. Select “Payment Method” as Element Type. On the next page, fill in the fields with fplowing details. Enter ‘Name’ as ‘Stripe Payment Method’

Enter ‘ElementID’ as ‘stripe_payment_method’

Click on the blue dotted line under ‘Product ID’ section then select an existing product or create a new product by clicking “Add Product” button on the top right corner of the screen under PRODUCTS section. Finally, click on “Save Changes” button on the top right corner of the screen. That’s it! Your Stripe payment method is now integrated with Mautic! To access your Stripe account, go back to Mautic admin area then click on Store tab then click on Stripe Elements menu icon on the left hand side under STORE SETUP section. Click on “Edit Element” button then select your Stripe element ID in the list. When you are done editing your setup, click on “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the screen. Now when you go to your store frontpage, you should see a new option in which you can choose between different payment methods.
