The integration support enables the companies to connect their existing Mattermost accounts with Deskpro accounts to help automate all their support activities. Create a new private channel in Mattermost called “Deskpro”.
Copy the Web Hook URL from the Deskpro portal under Settings > Integrations > Chat Integrations > Mattermost.
Paste the Web Hook URL into a text editor and replace “YOUR_WEBHOOK_URL” with your own Web Hook URL from Step 1 above. The format should look like this. https://chat.deskpro.io/{YOUR_WEBHOOK_URL}.
Click Save to update the hook URL.
Update your Mattermost configuration file at ~/etc/mattermost/configuration.json and add this variable. "webhookUrl". "https://chat.deskpro.io/{YOUR_WEBHOOK_URL}",
Edit. Open /home/me/.config/mattermost/configuration.json and add this to the end of the file. "webhookUrl". "https://chat.deskpro.io/{YOUR_WEBHOOK_URL}",
Next, create a new channel mattermost channel in your Mattermost instance called “Deskpro”.
Finally, copy the Web Hook URL from your Deskpro portal under Settings > Integrations > Chat Integrations > Mattermost and paste it into a text editor and replace “YOUR_WEBHOOK_URL” with your own Web Hook URL from Step 1 above. This integration will now enable Deskpro ChatBot to send messages to your Mattermost Channel named “deskpro” via the Web Hook URL provided by you. You can see this happening live on your Mattermost Channel “deskpro” once you sign up for a new free trial of Deskpro at https://www.deskpro.io/try-it-free/. Once you have created a new trial account for Deskpro on desktop or mobile, you will see a message from Deskpro ChatBot appear on your Mattermost Channel “deskpro” after some time.
