Integration of Mailgun and Zoho Subscriptions

Mailgun

Mailgun is a great email delivery service. It allows you to send emails from your website or app. It also allows you to send customized emails with HTML or plain text content. It comes with domain specific DKIM, SPF, and DMARC records so that the emails you send can be trusted.

Zoho Subscriptions

Zoho Subscriptions is another great email marketing top. It allows subscribers to get campaign updates via email, SMS, or mail. It is a great top for selling products and services. It also allows you to import contacts from your existing email address books.

Integration of Mailgun and Zoho Subscriptions

Both Mailgun and Zoho Subscriptions are great email marketing tops. But they do not integrate which makes it difficult to send emails. However, it is easy to integrate these two tops together with the help of Zapier.

How Does It Work

Zapier allows you to integrate both popular email marketing tops together. You can create a Zapier integration that will automatically insert a subscriber into Mailgun when he signs up for a mailing list in Zoho Subscriptions. This way, each subscriber’s email address is already in Mailgun, so you do not have to enter them manually. And since Mailgun allows you to send emails through the API, you can use Zapier to create a workflow that will automate sending of emails from Mailgun to subscribers. Here’s how to do it step by step:

Step 1. Set up a Zapier integration between Mailgun and Zoho Subscriptions. For this, go to the “Integrations” section in Zapier and select “Connect Mailgun”. Then, fplow the steps and set up an integration with Mailgun.

Step 2. Create a Zap that triggers whenever a new subscriber signs up for your mailing list in Zoho Subscriptions. In this step, use the fplowing Zapier recipe as a guide. https://zapier.com/zapbook/zap/3260/.

Step 3. Configure the “Send Email” action in the workflow created in step 2 so that it sends an email to the subscribers after they have been added to Mailgun.

Step 4. Configure the “Add rows to a Google Sheet” action in the workflow created in step 2 so that it adds the subscribers to a Google Sheet named “Mailgun New Subscribers” when they are added to Mailgun.

Step 5. Configure the “E-mail Subscriber” action in the workflow created in step 2 so that it sends an email to the subscribers who signed up for your mailing list in Zoho Subscriptions using the subject line “You just signed up for my newsletter!” and message body “Thank you for signing up for my mailing list! I will be sending out newsletters soon.”

Step 6. Configure the “Run Google Script” action in the workflow created in step 2 so that it loops through all of your subscribers who have signed up for your mailing list in Zoho Subscriptions and sends them emails at five minute intervals until they reply “Unsubscribe me” in your mailing list. The script should contain code that looks like this:

var mailgun = require('mailgun-js');

var zgSubscribers = [YOUR_ZOHO_SUBSCRIPTIONS_LABEL]; // Replace this with the label you used for your mailing list subscribers

var mailgun = require('mailgun-js');

// The next line of code creates an instance of Mailgun client based on your app credentials provided in Step 1 of the Zap setup.

var mailgun = require('mailgun-js'); var zgSubscribers = [YOUR_ZOHO_SUBSCRIPTIONS_LABEL]; // Replace this with the label you used for your mailing list subscribers var mail = mailgun.newMailgun({ apiKey. 'YOUR_MAILGUN_APIKEY', domain. 'YOUR_MAILGUN_DOMAIN', secure. true });
