Integration of Mailgun and Microsoft Exchange

There are many ways to integrate Mailgun with Microsoft Exchange.

You can simply add new users to existing groups. Or you can create new groups and adding users to those groups. Adding new users to existing groups will overwrite the existing group memberships. This means that existing users whose mailbox has been added to the group will have their mailbox disabled because they are already members of another group.

You can use PowerShell cmdlets to add mailboxes to the group. You can either use Get-Mailbox or Get-Recipient cmdlet to get the list of mailboxes and then pipe it to Add-DistributionGroupMember . For example, you can use this command to add Exch01 mailbox to the ‘Test’ distribution group. Add-DistributionGroupMember -Identity Test -Member Exch01 . Another way to add mailboxes to the group is to use Add-DistributionGroupMember . This cmdlet works like Add-ADGroupMember . For example, you can use this command to add Exch01 mailbox to the ‘Test’ distribution group. Add-DistributionGroupMember -Identity Test -Member Exch01 .
