MailChimp is an email marketing management service used by companies, bloggers, and non-profit organizations to send newsletters and other bulk emails. MailerLite is an email marketing service based in Russia. It is similar to MailChimp in many ways due to its features, but has a different pricing structure and has been around for far longer than MailChimp.
Integration of MailChimp and MailerLite. Due to MailerLite's popularity and reputation as a strong alternative to MailChimp, a lot of users have been wondering if it can be integrated into the MailChimp platform. The answer is yes! All you need to do is sign up for MailChimp. Next, you need to scrpl down to the bottom of your dashboard, where you will see the Integrations tab. Click on this tab, then click on the MailerLite button. You will then be directed to sign up for MailerLite. After signing up for MailerLite, you will be sent a confirmation email from MailerLite. You will also receive an email from MailChimp with instructions about how to integrate MailerLite and MailChimp together. There are currently only three integrations between these two services:Conspidate SubscribersThis integration allows you to import subscribers from MailChimp to MailerLite automatically. When you use this integration, you will first need to confirm your API key and Secret Key. This will allow MailerLite to pull in subscribers from your MailChimp account. Then, you can specify which subscriber fields you want to import and what format you would like them to be imported in (CSV or JSON.Once the import has been completed, you will be able to view your subscribers from MailerLite in the same list that you would see on MailChimp. The next step is to add subscribers from one list into another list in the same campaign on MailerLite. Then, you will be able to create an email using all of these subscribers from both lists in one email template.MailChimp for List SegmentationThis integration allows you to use your MailChimp subscriber lists as a segmentation option on your MailerLite campaigns. This integration is very similar to the previous one because it still invpves importing subscriber data into your list. You will first need to confirm your API key and Secret Key. This will allow MailerLite to pull in subscribers from your MailChimp account, but now we are going to narrow it down even more by specifying which field we want the subscriber data pulled into our list (email address. Once we have imported the subscriber data into our list, we can start using it to segment our List Builder campaigns on MailerLite. We can craft a campaign that sends out a specific email message to just those people who came into our subscriber list through Mailchimp.Mailchimp as a Source of LeadsThis integration allows you to use your MailChimp lists as a source of leads for your List Builder campaigns on MailerLite. This one is slightly different from the previous two because, instead of importing data from MailChimp into your database, it imports data from your database into MailChimp. When using this integration, you will need to confirm your API key and Secret Key once again. This will allow us to pull in new leads from our List Builder campaigns on MailerLite and push them into our selected list on our MailChimp account.MailerLite as a Source of LeadsIf we were talking about an integration between any two other platforms, you would probably think this was the most useless integration possible. However, since we are talking about integrating between MailChimp and MailerLite, it makes more sense. Basically, this integration allows you to use your subscriber lists from MailerLite as a source of leads for your List Builder campaigns on MailChimp. This one is basically the reverse of the previous integration. Instead of pulling leads out of our List Builder campaigns, we are now pushing them in. We will first need to confirm our API key and Secret key once again. Then we can push the leads that we have gathered through our List Builder campaigns on MailerLite into our selected lead source on our MailChimp account.
Overall, integrating between these two email marketing platforms is quite easy. If you use both services, it would definitely benefit you because it would give you more options when creating emails for your customers and clients.
