After verifying your PayPal email address, you need to set up a tax profile by choosing the appropriate country from the drop-down menu provided and then clicking on 'Continue'.6. Once you have done this, a popup window will appear asking you to enter your tax information such as TIN Number, Address, EIN Number (if applicable), etc. then click on 'Save Profile'.7. After this, scrpl down the page until you see a button labelled 'Save Changes' and click on it.8. On the next page choose 'Next' and then select 'Send test transaction'.9. Then complete a test checkout on your website or mobile app using Braintree's gateway service by entering some test details.

  • After completing the test checkout successfully, go back to your Braintree account settings page and then click on 'Test Settings'. You will find a button labelled 'Enable Website Payments Pro' under the heading 'Payment Settings'. Click on it and then you will get redirected to your account dashboard at PayPal for review of your application status.
  • After reviewing your application status at PayPal, you will get redirected back to your account page at Braintree where you will find a message saying 'Website Payments Pro is enabled'. In case if there is any issue with your application status, then you will find details explaining the same below this message.
  • Now go back to your account settings page at MailChimp and select 'Account Information'.
  • Then click on 'Linked Accounts' under the heading 'Linked Accounts & Services'. On this page scrpl down to find a section labelled 'Braintree Account ID'. Fill in this section with your Braintree API Key and click on 'Verify & Save'.
  • Then you will be redirected back to your account settings page at MailChimp where you will find a message saying that verification is complete. In case if there is any issue with verification then you will find details explaining the same below this message along with a link that will enable you to contact Braintree customer support team for further enquiries related to integration issues.
