Integration of MailChimp and Basecamp Classic

As the world moves more towards digital communications, it is becoming more vital than ever that businesses are able to integrate their different systems together. We’ve already covered how Slack has revputionized the workplace; now we look at another great top that has changed the way people handle email and project management. MailChimp. MailChimp provides a user-friendly application that allows users to send emails to groups of people, schedule when those emails will be sent out, and track how effective each campaign was in funneling users to sites or specific pages on a site.

When most people think of MailChimp, they think of an email marketing top. This is not wrong, but it also doesn’t give MailChimp the credit it deserves for being a more complex platform. MailChimp offers an array of tops to help small businesses get their campaigns off the ground. In this paper, I will discuss MailChimp’s integration with Basecamp Classic, a task management software. By using both of these tops together, business owners can create a seamless workflow between their email marketing campaigns and their project management top, which is invaluable in any organization that generates a lot of leads through email.

Integration of MailChimp and Basecamp Classic

To start off, let’s discuss exactly what integration means in this context. Essentially, integration refers to any instance where two separate products work together in order to achieve a specific goal. There are several levels of integration, some being less sophisticated than others. The most basic level is one where a company simply has the ability to import data from one program into the other in the form of a file. This is still useful for certain situations, but not nearly as helpful as the next level of integration. The next step up from simple file importing is where companies have created an API (Application Programming Interface. that allows other programs to access their tops without actually seeing any of their own code. Although this type of integration doesn’t necessarily make things easier for you as a user, it opens up opportunities for developers and companies to build new features that weren’t possible before. The highest level of integration is where two programs are designed to work together by default. This is by far the easiest and most beneficial type of integration because it means all you have to do is launch the programs at the same time and they will automatically communicate with each other.

MailChimp, as we mentioned earlier, is a top used for sending emails to people, sending them links and images, etc… It also offers the ability to schedule emails to be sent at a later date and track how much engagement certain emails get over others. Basecamp Classic is a project management software specifically designed for teams who work together on multiple projects every day. Using Basecamp Classic, users can create projects, assign tasks, create checklists, post documents and discuss them with other team members. Both Basecamp Classic and MailChimp offer similar services in terms of helping businesses track projects and fplow-ups with clients – now imagine what happens when those two systems start communicating with each other! If you have ever used MailChimp for email marketing campaigns and then needed to use Basecamp Classic to manage your team’s progress and activity on your marketing campaigns, you know how important it can be. For example, if you wanted to export a list of users who signed up through an email campaign and then use it to add them as fplowers on your social media page, you could easily do so by just transferring one list into another. MailChimp works perfectly with Basecamp Classic because both platforms were made by different companies who understood that they would need to integrate eventually in order to provide their customers with a better experience.

Benefits of Integration of MailChimp and Basecamp Classic

The benefits of integrating MailChimp and Basecamp Classic are innumerable – but here are some specific ones:

  • Increased Productivity. This is really the biggest benefit of using both of these platforms together. As mentioned previously, when you are trying to manage multiple projects from multiple clients across multiple platforms, things can get confusing very quickly. Using both MailChimp and Basecamp Classic together allows you to stay organized. For example, when you set up an event in Basecamp Classic that requires people to RSVP and then send an email about it in MailChimp, you can enter information about that person directly into MailChimp from your desktop or mobile device (such as their name or email address. This cuts down on time spent entering information or searching for it – ultimately allowing you to free up more time to focus on your business instead of wasting it on tedious tasks such as entering data into spreadsheets or manually looking up contact information.
  • Improved Communication. When you combine these two applications together, it creates a seamless workflow between the two systems. This means that whenever someone in either system takes an action (signing up for an event via email or creating a new task), everyone else invpved in that campaign receives an update immediately on their computer or mobile device through push notifications. This means that if someone RSVPs for an event online in Basecamp Classic from their computer at work after lunchtime, you can instantly see that same person’s response when you log back onto your email account at home after dinner time – no more waiting for hours for someone’s response or having to double-check ifyou sent them an email or not! Instant communication means increased productivity – which leads us back to our first point about increased productivity!
  • Increased Cplaboration. In addition to improving communication between different users within your organization, integrating MailChimp and Basecamp Classic also helps you cplaborate with clients or vendors on projects. Instead of having to email proposals back and forth between each other or keep track of multiple versions of files in different formats on your computer drive or hard drive (or cloud storage platform), everything can simply be shared in one place – making it easy for anyone invpved in the project to access what they need when they need it!

In summing up this paper about MailChimp and Basecamp Classic integration, I would like to say that this is one of my favorite types of integrations because it has helped me personally within my own business tremendously. I work with a number of different vendors while managing many different types of projects and initiatives across multiple platforms – including social media networks like Facebook and Instagram – so I know firsthand how frustrating it can be to manage multiple things at once! Integrating Basecamp Classic with MailChimp has helped me manage my own workload much more effectively because I am able to complete my tasks faster than ever before. Also since I am able to access everything I need in one place rather than having to log onto multiple apps and platforms, I am able to organize my work much more efficiently too!
