Integration of MailChimp Ecommerce and Flipkart

MailChimp Ecommerce?

According to MailChimp Ecommerce, MailChimp’s ecommerce platform, you can embed your store on your website, blog, Facebook page, or wherever you want.

MailChimp’s ecommerce platform was built to allow you to create an online store without having to know programming or web design. You can either design your own store or create a store using one of the pre-designed templates. The system takes care of all the technical aspects of running an online store so you can focus on what makes your business unique – the product you offer and how you sell it.

Flipkart?

Flipkart was started by Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal in 2007.[2] In less than a decade, Flipkart has become India’s largest e-commerce retailer. There are thousands of products available including books, music, movies, clothing, shoes, electronics and more. Not only that, but they also offer a service for customers to find products from hundreds of other sites and compare prices.

In May 2015, it announced the acquisition of eBay India’s operations.[3] The company has been valued at $15 billion[4], making it the most valuable startup in the country. In April 2016, Microsoft invested $200 million as part of a larger funding round that amounted to $700 million.[5] Flipkart has 1,00,000 employees and their services are available in 40 cities across the country.[6] Flipkart became part of Walmart in August 2017 and continues to operate as an independent entity.[7]

. Integration of MailChimp Ecommerce and Flipkart

MailChimp Ecommerce and Flipkart cannot be integrated without MailChimp integration. MailChimp provides the spution to integrate the MailChimp Ecommerce and Flipkart through email marketing.

The integration process can be divided into two parts. 1. Integrating the MailChimp Ecommerce and Flipkart 2. Integrating the MailChimp Ecommerce and MailChimp

  • Integrating the MailChimp Ecommerce and Flipkart. The first thing we need to do is authenticate our accounts with each other. To do this we will fplow these steps:

Step 1. Go to the ‘Ecommerce’ tab on the left side menu of your account. You should see a tab called “Integrations”. Click on this tab and then click on the link labelled “Integrate with your favorite shopping cart”. This will bring you to a page where you will be able to connect your account with Mailchimp. Click on the button labelled “Link with Shopify”. We will use Shopify as an example for this tutorial because it is one of the most popular ecommerce platforms being used today. You might have to choose something else if you are using another platform. And if you are using WordPress for your site you can always use their free plugin instead of using Shopify. After clicking on this button you will be taken to the details screen for the integration. Here you will have to enter some information about your store so that Mailchimp can talk directly with your shopping cart. A few tips for entering this information are below. Shopify URL. This is the link that people will use to browse your store. It should look something like this. www.yourstorenamehere.com/shop or http://yourstorenamehere.myshopify.com/cart/.

This is the link that people will use to browse your store. It should look something like this. www.yourstorenamehere.com/shop or http://yourstorenamehere.myshopify.com/cart/. Secret Key. This is a special code that Shopify uses to confirm that they are talking to the correct integration. If you already have an integration set up with them then you can just copy and paste it into this field instead of entering it manually. After entering the information click on the ‘Save Changes’ button at the bottom of the screen. If everything went well you should see a screen that looks like this. Now click on ‘Connect’ on the next screen and you will be redirected back to MailChimp after a few seconds asking you what lists you would like us to connect your shop with. Click ‘Add List’, select which list(s. you would like us to connect your shop with (if you only want one then just leave it selected), then click ‘Connect’ again at the bottom of the screen. This will take your shop data and connect it with your chosen list(s. This connection will happen immediately but it may take several hours for new orders imported by MailChimp to show up on your Shopify dashboard (don’t worry, they are still there. Also note that this only works one way; MailChimp will not see any of your customer data unless you explicitly give us permission to do so (you can do this by selecting ‘Allow MailChimp access even if connected eCommerce accounts don’t exist in my account’ when connecting. • Integrating the MailChimp Ecommerce and MailChimp. When we send out an email using MailChimp we include a bit of hidden HTML code in them so we can track opens and clicks. This code is called a ‘web beacon’ because it acts like a little invisible light that bounces around the Internet picking up information for us.[87] In order for our web beacons to work properly we need to make sure that they are interacting with the right webpages on your site because otherwise we won’t know which emails were opened or clicked by recipients who open them in their email inboxes! For example, if your webpages contain a link linking back to your online store then we won’t know which emails lead people there! So how do we make sure our web beacons are working properly? We insert a special code into every web page on our website that tells MailChimp whether our web beacons should interact with it or not.[88] In order for us to be able to insert this code into every page on our website we have to use a little jQuery code[89]. The code will look something like this:[90] <script type="text/javascript"> !function(a){a=Function(c){return(window==c)?!1:void 0},b=Object(c),d=a("https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.2.0/jquery.min.js"),e=a("https://www.mailchimp.com/ajax/emails/send/v2/configure"),g=a("https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.11.4/jquery-ui.min.js"),h=a("https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/jquery-validate/1.18.1/jquery-validate-unobtrusive-plugin-minified-1.18.1-amd-3d96b129bfa0c0498f82cee193c5a385b09b3feb5-l
