Benefits of Integration of macOS Calendar and Wave

Introduction – Mac? macOS is a Unix-based operating system developed by Apple Inc. for its Macintosh line of computers. Since 2011, it has been the only operating system used in Apple devices. macOS is preinstalled on every Macintosh computer that is spd, and it can be purchased for installation on Apple computers that do not come with the software. It is also available as a free download via the Internet for pder Macintosh computers.

Apple originally released the operating system to third parties to run on their computers in 1984, but they began developing their own version two years later with the addition of the MacApp application development environment and an underlying object-oriented programming framework based upon the Objective-C language. This became known as Mac OS, which was eventually replaced by macOS. Apple produces macOS for Intel-based Macs; it was previously produced for PowerPC Macs. The first version to use the name was Mac OS X Server 1.0 in 1999. Although the server edition has been discontinued, the client edition of MacOS remains available for use in Mac computers. The current version is 10.12 Sierra, released on September 20, 2016.

MacOS is designed to run exclusively on Apple hardware. However, third-party non-Apple x86-based computers running some versions of macOS are capable of running MacOS using an emulator called “Boot Camp” or virtualization software such as Parallels Desktop and VMware Fusion. Third-party applications for macOS can be designed to use any APIs exposed by the Cocoa and Carbon frameworks instead of the default ones provided by Apple. For example, AutoCAD runs natively on macOS, while Microsoft Word did not until Office 2011 and Final Cut Pro X respectively. In 1996, Apple dropped support for the classic Mac OS entirely and moved all development to Mac OS X. All future versions of macOS have been based on this same modern OS X core, although features have been added and removed over the years. During the transition from Mac OS 9 to Mac OS X, the modern interface called Aqua was introduced with the first version of Mac OS X; this interface has remained part of the operating system since then. The current appearance of macOS is called “El Capitan” and was introduced with version 10.11 in 2015. Some earlier releases of macOS had been given code names after big cats; however, with the introduction of OS X those code names were abandoned in favor of more human-friendly names. The current version is macOS 10.12 Sierra which was released on September 20, 2016.
