Integration of macOS Calendar and Adobe Connect

macOS Calendar

Choosing a calendar application to use on macOS can be a difficult task. Apple makes it easy for users to choose their preferred calendar application by including three options in their operating system. The three calendar applications are, Apple Calendar, the default macOS Calendar application, BusyCal and Fantastical.

Apple Calendar

Apple’s Calendar application is part of the software suite that comes with macOS. It is available for all Apple computers and devices, from desktops to smartphones. This makes it an ideal choice for users who have multiple Apple devices. Apple Calendar has many great features; however, its integration with other applications is not one of them. There are many third-party apps that are more sophisticated than Apple’s Calendar app and are easier to integrate with other applications.

BusyCal

BusyCal is a calendar application available for MacOS, Windows and iOS. BusyCal is a powerful and customizable calendar application. However, it features many advanced features that may be difficult for novice users or those that do not need all the bells and whistles that come with BusyCal. This may be a deterrent to some users, especially those that just want basic functionality. BusyCal also has a steep learning curve, which can make it hard to learn.

Fantastical

Fantastical is another calendar application that is available for MacOS and iOS. This calendar application has similar features to those offered by the Apple Calendar app but with far less clutter and the ability to set reminders and alarms. Fantastical is a great option for users who want a simple calendar application without all the extra features that are offered with BusyCal. Fantastical also has a very friendly user interface as well as a Learning Center that provides step-by-step guides on how to use Fantastical with ease. The main drawback of using Fantastical is the lack of compatibility with other applications when compared to Apple’s Calendar app.

Adobe Connect

Adobe Connect is a web conferencing top that allows users to host online meetings through the use of video chat, screen sharing and whiteboards. Adobe Connect can be used on macOS but its desktop version is only available for Windows and MacOS computers. The desktop version of Adobe Connect can be used to host online meetings while mobile versions of Adobe Connect can be used to attend online meetings as well as view past recordings of these meetings.

Integration of macOS Calendar and Adobe Connect

Integration between macOS Calendar and Adobe Connect is a relatively new feature that was added in early 2018. Prior to this update, users could only view their calendar within Adobe Connect without any integration with other applications such as Reminders or Mail. Now users can easily add events from their macOS Calendar into Adobe Connect making it an easy way to schedule meetings or notify participants of upcoming events.

Benefits of Integration of macOS Calendar and Adobe Connect

The integration between macOS Calendar and Adobe Connect adds convenience to users since they no longer have to switch back and forth between different apps to schedule events or send meeting invitations. Instead, they can use one app to both schedule events and keep track of their calendar. This also helps educate users about how to use Adobe Connect as well as how to utilize its features. It enables users to create events and share calendars with other participants within the same app, removing the need to switch between applications when scheduling events or sharing calendars. Users can also create recurring events from within the macOS Calendar app rather than adding each event individually, saving time when scheduling events.

The process to integrate macOS Calendar and Adobe Connect may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
