Integration of Loyverse and Skype for Business

In today's world, it is essential to have a mobile workforce that can be deployed anywhere at any time. In the business world, that means that employees need to be able to communicate with one another regardless of where they are located. Traditionally, businesses relied on phone systems to provide communication. Skype for Business is a version of Microsoft Lync that includes additional features including instant messaging, presence indicators, online meetings, file transfer capabilities and more.Microsoft has created two separate applications for Skype for Business. One is called Lync Phone Edition and the other is Skype for Business Phone Edition. Lync Phone Edition is designed for people who want to use Skype for Business on their desktop or laptop computers. This application allows users to place and receive calls using a headset or their computer speakers and microphone. The user interface looks very similar to the Skype program which is also designed by Microsoft. Despite having similar features, these two programs cannot be used interchangeably because they do not share the same unique identifier. The second application is called Skype for Business Phone Edition. This program can only be used on smart phones running iOS or Android and does not require a headset or an external microphone. Instead, calls are initiated through a dialer and a conversation takes place through the built in microphone and speakers of the device. As mentioned above, when users select a person from their contact list they will see different options under the contact's information depending on what kind of communication they want to initiate (e.g., video call, voice call, text chat.When users click on 'Video Call', they will see several options including 'Start Video Call' (allows users to start a voice call. or 'Join Video Call' (allows users to join a video call in progress. When users select 'Start Video Call', they will be presented with a list of all contacts available in Skype for Business who are currently online along with an option to ask them if they want to join a video call. When users click on 'Join Video Call', users will see all contacts in Skype for Business who are already participating in video calls along with the option to ask them if they want to add them to their existing video call. When users select 'Join Video Call', they will see how many participants are already invpved and will then be asked if they want to connect without audio or with audio but without video or simply join the video call as a spectator (which means that they cannot hear what is being said but can watch what is taking place. If someone selects 'with audio but without video', what this means is that the people in the video call will be able to hear them but they will not be able to see them. They will be shown as a black screen and only their voices will be heard. They will also be able to hear whoever else is in the video conference without having video turned on but will not be able to see them either unless they join as a full participant or spectator.Although both programs seem very similar, there are some differences between Lync and Skype for Business that can impact how people use them. One difference is that although both offer video calling, only Skype for Business offers group video calling capabilities. Another difference is that Skype for Business offers better integration with popular social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter than Lync does. Another difference is that both programs allow people to send files but only Skype allows people to send files up 1GB in size whereas Lync limits users to sending files up 100MB in size.Another difference between Lync and Skype for Business is their interfaces because Lync uses a ribbon format while Skype for Business uses 2 panes (one pane displays contact information while the other pane displays conversations.
