LinkedIn is a social networking site for professional people. It has over 110 million registered members. It has grown to become the largest professional network on the Internet. It was founded in December 2002 by Stanford computer students Reid Hoffman and Eric Ly, both of whom had previously worked together at PayPal. Since then, LinkedIn has grown rapidly into a large business with more than 2.5 million members in 90 countries. It has attracted many prominent investors, including Microsoft and The Founders Fund which included Peter Thiel. In 2008, it acquired Slide, a company that developed online presentation software.
Pipelinedeals is a site that enables customers to compare prices on products spd at different stores. It works by scanning barcodes and then identifying the cheapest product available. Users can scan a product’s barcode using their smartphone camera or scan it from an ad found in a magazine or newspaper. The user then enters the price they wish to pay for the product, as well as any other specifications such as cpor or size. The system then identifies the best deal for that product by comparing prices from all major stores and brands. In addition to finding deals on specific products, users are also able to access information on deals offered by nearby stores in order to plan future purchases. The site is free to use; however, if a user finds a cheaper price after visiting a store, they must pay $10 to report the better deal to other users. This helps ensure that users receive accurate information on the best deals available.
So far, Facebook, Twitter and Google+ are only used by individuals. They are not used by companies or businesses. Only recently, Google has integrated Google+ with Gmail and YouTube accounts. However, there is still no integration between LinkedIn and Google+. There is no way for Google+ to connect with LinkedIn using an API (Application Programming Interface. This means that there is no opportunity for Google+ users to integrate their profiles with their LinkedIn account. Similarly, there is no opportunity for LinkedIn users to connect their profiles with their Google+ account. Even though there is no current integration between Google+ and LinkedIn, there should be an integration between them. With this integration, Google+ users can have better search results on Google+. If a person uses Google+ and LinkedIn at the same time, the Google search engine can provide better search results because it will know how the person communicates and interacts with others in real life through his/her LinkedIn profile. It will also know that the person often searches for things related to business or work through his/her Google+ account. Therefore, it will be able to provide better search results related to business or work topics when the person searches for something related to business or work on Google+. Similarly, if a person uses LinkedIn and Google+, he/she can benefit from having better search results too because it will know much about him/her just like the search engine knows about people who use only one of the two services (Google+ or LinkedIn. With this integration, people can benefit from sharing information between Google+ and LinkedIn without even realizing it.
