Integration of Keap and Tableau

Keap has four components, They are. the application developer, Keap runtime, Keap server, and the Keap service broker. Each component has its own specific job. The fplowing diagram shows the various components of Keap.

The Application Developer creates the application using the most convenient development language for this purpose, most typically Java. He or she can then package it into a jar file that is then uploaded to the Keap Server for deployment. The Keap Server takes care of storing the code in HDFS so that the code can be executed in parallel on multiple machines using MapReduce framework. The Keap Service Broker is responsible for managing jobs in Keap cluster. The service broker interacts with the Keap Runtime to provide application specific services needed by applications running on MapReduce framework. The Keap Runtime handles the MapReduce jobs by interacting with the Hadoop Distributed File System, which in turn manages data in HDFS.

The service broker then puts a request for analyzing data from HDFS to the Keap Runtime which communicates with the Tableau Server to analyze data via its services and create visualizations out of them. After creating visualizations, users can view their data through Tableau dashboards or export it as CSV or JSON files for further analysis or share them with other people invpved in the project by publishing the report created from Tableau dashboards through Tableau Server from where it can be viewed from any device connected to Internet through a web browser or a mobile device using a mobile app using Tableau Reader App available for all major platforms including Android, iOS, Microsoft Windows Phone and Apple Mac OS X devices. Fourth advantage of integrating Tableau and Keap frameworks together is that both Tableau Server and Tableau Reader App are available as SaaS products which means users don’t have to pay for installing or maintaining any software on their local computers or servers as they will be hosted on web servers owned by Tableau Incorporated company without any extra costs to users except those associated with internet connection required to access those servers from anywhere in the world through a web browser or mobile devices using Tableau Reader App. One more advantage of using Tableau and Keap frameworks together is that they can be used for creating interactive dashboards that enable users to respond to changing business environment faster than if they were using non-interactive dashboards or reports that cannot be changed once they are published or shared among users invpved in a project.
