Integration of Keap and Cloud Firestore

Keap is an open source library that handles data security for mobile applications. Cloud Firestore is a scalable, noSQL database with strong data consistency. It is developed by Google and is hosted as a service on Firebase. It is also the newest addition to the Firebase suite of products. The integration of Keap and Cloud Firestore will make it easier for developers to secure data in their applications without having to worry about storing the data securely.

Cloud Firestore is a scalable, noSQL database that can be used either as a stand-alone database or as a fully managed database hosted by Google. As a stand-alone database, it can be accessed using its native API, which has support for different programming languages including Java, Swift, and PHP. Aside from that, it also has its own SDKs for Android, iOS and Node.js. In case you are already using Firebase and want to add a new database to your existing application, you may opt to use Cloud Firestore as a fully managed database since it already comes with other features provided by other Firebase products such as Authentication, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage.

Since Cloud Firestore provides support for multiple programming languages, it is not hard for developers to integrate it with their existing applications. However, in order to do so, they must first register with Firebase using their Google Account and link the account with their project ID. Once that is done, they only need to import the Firebase SDK in their project and fplow the instructions given on the “Getting Started” page of the documentation of Cloud Firestore.

It should be noted though that there is no authentication provided out-of-the-box when using Cloud Firestore as a fully managed database. This means that the users of your application will not be able to sign up or sign in using your application. But this does not mean that you cannot add authentication to your application. You can always add authentication to your application using the other features provided by Firebase such as Auth0 or Firebase UI Library.

Aside from that, Cloud Firestore provides support for RESTful APIs that can be used to change the structure of your database or create indexes on particular fields. It also allows you to perform read/write operations on your database, but like most databases, it can only allow you to do so on one field at a time. However, if you intend to write data on multiple fields at the same time, you will have to use the transaction functionality provided by the Cloud Firestore SDK.

In conclusion, the integration of Keap with Cloud Firestore would make it easier for developers to secure data in their applications without having to worry about storing the data securely. Developers only need to write their applications using Keap and then utilize Cloud Firestore for securing the data stored in their applications.

The process to integrate Keap and Cloud Firestore may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
