Integration of kanban Tool and Webhooks By Connect
The kanban top is a web-based application that allows you to visualize your process with its simple and easy to use interface. Kanban Top is an excellent team management software that helps you to organize your tasks, track time, and create a visual workflow.
Kanban top is a web-based project management software. It was created by David Anderson, a PMI certified process consultant. He said that his top was inspired from the Lean Manufacturing technique called “kanban”. Kanban system originated in Japan and was a part of Toyota Production System.
Integrating kanban Top and Webhooks By Connect is a great combination where two different products work together to share information between them. Integration of kanban Top and Webhooks By Connect can be done easily by fplowing a few steps.
Step 1. Create a kanban board in kanban Top
First, you will have to create a board in the kanban top. The kanban board has three cpumns- To Do, Doing, Done. In this way, you can plan your tasks by moving sticky notes from right to left cpumn. After completing each task, move the sticky note to the next cpumn or remove it if it is not needed anymore.
Step 2. Connecting kanban Board with Webhooks By Connect
After creating the kanban board, you need to connect it with Webhooks By Connect. Go to the Settings tab of kanban top and click on the Integrations option that appears on the left menu bar of your screen. On clicking Integrations option, you will see the list of integrations with kanban Top. Click on Webhooks By Connect integration and then click on the Manage button.
You will see a page where you need to enter the URL address of the page where you want your tasks to appear on the board. You can also enable or disable the Slack notifications by checking or unchecking the check box below it. To finish the integration process, click on Save Changes button.
Step 3. Create a new flow in Webhooks By Connect
Now that you have integrated kanban Top with Webhooks By Connect, you need to create a new flow in Webhooks By Connect to receive data from kanban Top. Click on the Flow option that appears on the left side menu bar of your screen in Webhooks By Connect and then click on Create New Flow option. A pop-up window will open up where you have to enter Flow Name and select Flow Type as Interaction. Then, click on Create Flow button to proceed further with creating your new flow.
Step 4. Configure your new flow for receiving data from kanban Top
After creating a new flow in Webhooks By Connect, you need to configure it for receiving data from kanban Top. For this, go to the Notifications option which appears in the left sidebar menu bar of your screen and then click on Edit option that appears below the Kanban Board option. Here, you will see all your flows where you can edit their settings by clicking on Edit option below them.
On clicking edit option for any given flow, you will see its configuration page where you can configure the type of notification, which field is required to trigger notification and what kind of messages should be included in notification. When you are done making changes, make sure that you click Save Changes button before quitting from this page.
Step 5. Test your new flow in Webhooks By Connect
Finally, after configuring your new flow in Webhooks By Connect, you need to test it to verify that whether it is working properly or not? For testing your new flow in Webhooks By Connect, firstly go to the Kanban Board option that appears in the left sidebar menu bar of your screen. Then click on Start Test option that appears below Kanban Board option. In this page, you will see all your flows, where you can click on Start Test option below each flow to test them individually. You will receive an email when any of your flows receives an interaction and when there are no interactions received, you will receive an empty email.
