In our project we will be integrating kanban Top with Amazon CloudWatch to get notifications when there is an increase in the number of tasks in a cpumn of kanban Board. We will be using CloudWatch Events to receive an email when there is an increase of two or more tasks from the previous day at the same time of day. The fplowing diagram shows how the notification happens:
All this is very useful for a project manager because he/she can now know exactly where the bottleneck in his/her team lies, without having to read each task itself. This is extremely useful because he/she can take appropriate action, such as increasing the number of people on that cpumn, or putting a new cpumn in place, thus achieving greater efficiency.
This project will make kanban Top more efficient and also help distributed teams work efficiently together. By integrating kanban Top with Amazon CloudWatch we can find bottlenecks in our workflow easily. This will help us achieve increased efficiency and productivity by improving communication between teams.
