Sign up on SMS By Connect (https://smsbyconnect.com. Once you are logged in, you will see the fplowing screen. Click on “Get Started” button on the bottom right corner of the screen. On the next page, you will be asked to enter your email address and name. You can enter any valid email address (your personal Gmail account works fine. Fill in the name field with your own name here. This will help people remember who sent them the message. After filling up all the necessary information, click on “Create an account” button. You will receive an email from SMS By Connect to activate your account. Click on the link in the email to activate your account. Once your account is activated, you will see the fplowing screen. Here, you will get your API key, App ID and App Password. You will need these credentials to connect JotForm with SMS By Connect. Keep this tab open so that you can copy these credentials for later use.

Step 2. Sign up on JotForm

Sign up on JotForm (http://www.jotform.com. if you haven’t already done it. Once you are logged in, go to Settings page from the left-side menu bar. Then, click on “Integrations” from the top right corner of the page. In the next window, click on “Connections” tab from the top right corner of the page. Next to SMS By Connect, click on “Connect” button. This will take you to a popup screen where you need to enter your API key, App ID and App Password that you got in step 1 above in their respective fields in SMS By Connect section. Then, in JotForm section, select whether you want to create a new user from this connection or not from dropdown box under “Create New User?” Select whether you want to send a welcome message or not from dropdown box under “Send Welcome Message?” Select whether you want to create a new contact or not from dropdown box under “Create Contact?” If you want to send a welcome message along with a new form submission via SMS by Connect, please check “New Form Submission From SMS By Connect” box under “Send a welcome message?” section. If there are any questions that you would like to ask while sending an SMS by Connect, please add them in “Text Questions?” section by entering the question and its possible answers separated by comma (,. in each answer field (e.g., your name?, John Smith. Save your settings by clicking on “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page. You can now send different types of messages through SMS By Connect using JotForm form submissions data and JotForm subscribers emails addresses. For example.
