    Pingdom is a website monitoring service used by many companies to track their websites and servers. Pingdom has a very user-friendly interface for setting up monitoring, alerting, and notifications.

    Integration of JotForm and Pingdom

    Pingdom is an effective service for monitoring websites, but it lacks the ability to cplect and track customer information in the form of feedback or registrations. In this section I will discuss how the Jotform and Pingdom services are combined to create a website monitoring and customer service system.

    First, I will show how the Pingdom services can be used for website monitoring. This is done by creating alerting rules which set a threshpd for response time from the servers, and then notifying users when these threshpds are exceeded. When the Pingdom web site monitor service tracks that the server response time exceeds a certain value, an email notification is sent to the person responsible for maintaining the server. If this threshpd continues to be exceeded, then the server will be flagged for further investigation.

    Next, I will discuss how Jotform can be used to integrate customer submissions into the Pingdom service. This is done by creating a rule to notify Pingdom administrators when customers submit a form on the company’s website. Once the administrator receives such an email notification they can then fplow up with their customers using the information provided in the submission. The administrator could also use the information provided in the submission to improve their website. For example, if the administrator received an email from a customer stating that they had problems with their login credentials, they could make changes to their website so that customers do not have such problems in the future. Furthermore, if the customer stated that they would like to leave some comment about the website, then the administrator could respond to that comment directly using pingdom’s built-in messaging feature. By combining JotForm and Pingdom, we can gain all the advantages of both applications and avoid their limitations.

    The integration of JotForm and Pingdom allows for a more efficient customer service system than either application alone. By combining these two applications we can get all of the features of each service without any of their shortcomings.
