How JotForm & nozbe Integrations Work

Integration of JotForm and nozbe

In this paper, I will describe how JotForm and nozbe can be integrated. I will give an outline for this article.


Integration of JotForm and nozbe

To integrate the two applications, you need to install a plugin that enables both systems to talk to each other.

  • Go to http://www.jotform.com/plugins/ and click on Add New>Add Plugin.
  • In the search box, type “nozbe”. The first result should be Nozbe Sync. Click the Install button and then the Activate button.
  • Click the Configure button in the upper right corner.
  • Click the Default Settings tab and enter your nozbe user name and password in the appropriate fields.
  • In the Advanced tab, select the checkbox next to “Make this plugin always active” and then click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
  • First, test if integration is working by going to http://www.jotform.com/preview/ and clicking the Nozbe Plugin link in the menu on the left side of the screen. You should see a list of all Nozbe tasks you have created with their statuses and details, such as due date, title, time needed, etc. You should see a green checkmark next to each task listed as Completed or as Pending. If you have any tasks that are not completed or have not been started yet, they will be listed as Not Started or as Waiting for Response. If integration is working properly, you should see what time you will need to work on those tasks, when they are assigned to you, and when they are due.

The first time you use the JotForm-Nozbe plugin, make sure you set up a default status for every task you create in Nozbe. For example, select Pending from the dropdown menu next to Status in Nozbe and set it as Nozbe’s default status. This way whenever you choose Pending from the dropdown menu next to Status in Nozbe, it will automatically be imported into JotForm as a Pending status.
