  • Configure your form. Once you sign up and log in to your account, you will see a dashboard. Click the “Add new form” button on the left and select the type of form you want to add. For example, if you want to build a form for a request to join an event, select “Event Request Form”. Then, provide all the details required for the form such as name of the form, title of event, location and description of event etc.
  • Deploy your form. Once you are done configuring the form, click on “Deploy this form”. When the form is deployed successfully, you will see a message saying “Successfully deployed!” on the top right of your screen.
  • Create a new Netlify site. Create a new site on Netlify by logging in to your Netlify account and then click “Create site” on the right side of your screen.
  • Add JotForm to your site. Now, go back to JotForm, click on the “Add New Forms” button on the left side of your screen, select “Add from Netlify” from the dropdown menu and then click on “Connect with Netlify”. You will be asked to connect your Netlify account using GitHub or email address and password. If you have connected your Netlify account before, choose “I already connected my account” from the dropdown menu and enter username and password. Select the form you want to add from your dashboard and click “Connect”. When you are done adding form to your site, click on “Done!” button on the top right of your screen. This will update your Netlify site with the form code.
  • Set up your form. Now that you have added your form to your site, let’s set it up properly so that it works correctly in Netlify. Click on “Settings” on the top right of your screen and then click on “Site Settings” option in the left pane of your screen. Under “Content Types” tab, select “HTML” as a content type and then click on “Save Settings” button at the bottom right.
  • Migrate your site. This is an optional step but highly recommended for enhanced security and performance of your site. Before migrating, make sure you have backed up your source code on GitHub or BitBucket. After backing up your source code, go back to JotForm and click on “Migrate this form” button from the left pane of your screen. If you have not set up your site yet, select “Create a new site” from the dropdown menu and enter site title, description and choose a site language as well as framework for your site. After selecting these options, click on “Migrate Form to Site” button at the bottom right of your screen. This will create a new version of your site on Netlify with your form pre-populated in HTML code.
  • Customize your site. Now that you have set up your site, you can start customizing it by going to Settings > Code editor under Settings section in Code tab on the left side of your screen. In Code editor, find where we added our form in HTML code and edit it according to our needs. For example, if we want to change title of our form in our application, we will change title as shown below:

<a class="jotform-form jotform-123456789" method="post" action="https://www.example.com/jotform"> <input type="hidden" name="jotform_token" value="1234567890"> <input type="hidden" name="form_id" value="123456789"> <input type="text" name="name" placehpder="Name"> </a> 1 2 3 4 5 6 <a class = "jotform-form jotform-123456789" method = "post" action = "https://www . example . com / jotform" > <input type = "hidden" name = "jotform_token" value = "1234567890" > <input type = "hidden" name = "form_id" value = "123456789" > <input type = "text" name = "name" placehpder = "Name" > </a>

  • Preview your site. Go back to Netlify dashboard and preview your site by clicking on “Preview” link at the top right corner of your screen(if you haven’t selected any other sites. On previewing page, you will see all the fields from JotForm along with a place hpder for image URL which would be used for uploading images or uploading files from file uploaders like Google docs or Dropbox etc.. Still do not worry about this place hpder because we can add HTML code for file upload later using CSS code in our Netlify dashboard after previewing our site.
  • Publish your site. Go back to Code Editor in Netlify dashboard and add CSS code for file uploader in HTML code which we had seen in previewing our site above (step number 9. Change the URL mentioned in CSS code with image URL of JotForm as shown below:

<img src="https://www . example . com/images/imagewithoutfilename . png"> 1 <img src = "https . //www . example . com/images/imagewithoutfilename . png" >

  • Deploy your site. Finally, go back to Code Editor in Netlify dashboard again and click on “Publish” button at the bottom right corner of our screen to publish our changes and deploy them live to production server.
